Silver State HVAC, Refrigeration & Plumbing has acquired All American Mechanical, Inc., a commercial HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment service provider based in El Dorado Hills, California. The acquisition expands Silver State's California footprint and strengthens its service capabilities for restaurants and foodservice customers across Northern California.

ResiXperts, a residential services platform backed by FoW Partners, has acquired Handy Plumbing Man, a San Carlos, California plumbing services provider founded by Marco Acosta and Amparo Cornelio. The deal is an add-on to expand ResiXperts' presence in Northern California while retaining the company's culture and leadership to support continued growth.

Silver State HVAC, Refrigeration & Plumbing has acquired The Whitman Company, Inc., a commercial HVAC service provider founded in La Mirada, California in 1985, to expand Silver State's Southern California footprint. The deal is an add-on to Silver State's platform (which is backed by The Edgewater Funds) and strengthens its commercial HVAC installation, maintenance and replacement capabilities across Los Angeles and Orange counties.

AMPAM Parks Mechanical, a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, has acquired Seal Electric, an electrical contractor focused on multifamily residential projects in California and Arizona. The add-on expands AMPAM’s capabilities to offer integrated MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) services for the multifamily market; terms were not disclosed.

Silver State HVAC, Refrigeration & Plumbing (a portfolio company of The Edgewater Funds) has acquired Westaire Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., a Ventura, California-based commercial HVAC and refrigeration services provider. The acquisition expands Silver State’s California footprint — complementing its Los Angeles and Sacramento operations — and adds technicians, installers and office staff to bolster commercial preventative maintenance, repair, installation and 24/7 emergency capabilities.

The SEER Group has acquired Kilowatt Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric, a Sherman Oaks-based HVAC and electrical services provider, as part of its strategy to expand its California footprint. The deal brings Kilowatt's founder Dean Gilford into the SEER platform to help grow service and product offerings across the San Fernando Valley.

ResiXperts, a residential services platform backed by FoW Partners, has partnered with Marathon Plumbing, Heating & Air (Southern California) and Tokay Heating & Air (Northern California) as its first California partnerships to expand its Southwestern U.S. footprint. Apex Service Partners has acquired HomeBreeze, a Y Combinator‑backed residential home services startup that provides fast quotes and technology to simplify home upgrades and maintenance. The deal expands Apex’s footprint and service capabilities in the residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical market, bringing HomeBreeze’s tech and California customer base into Apex’s platform.

Redwood Services has acquired a majority stake in Tony's Plumbing, a Modesto, California-based residential plumbing company founded in 1994; founders/owners will retain a significant minority ownership stake. Redwood will provide operational, strategic and financial support to help accelerate growth, and Tony's will continue to operate under its existing brand. The transaction is Redwood's sixteenth platform investment in the residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical services space.

Sciens Building Solutions, a San Francisco-based holding company backed by The Carlyle Group, has acquired Poway, California-based Western Fire Protection. The add-on expands Sciens' presence in Southern California and enhances its ability to offer integrated fire protection, alarm and sprinkler services across the region.

Right Way Garage Doors, a partner company of Guild Garage Group, has acquired Aaron Overhead Doors, a family-owned residential garage door service business based in Monterey, California. The transaction is an add-on to the Guild roll-up designed to expand Right Way/Guild's California footprint while preserving the legacy and management of the Conte family.

Rellaire Smart Home Systems has acquired Blackwell Services, a heating and cooling contractor based in Lodi, California, marking Rellaire's second HVAC acquisition as it expands its service footprint to the West Coast. Gemspring Capital Management affiliate has acquired a majority interest in AMPAM Parks Mechanical, a Carson, California–based design-build plumbing provider serving the multifamily residential market. The founders will retain significant ownership and Gemspring plans to support geographic expansion, cross-selling of additional trade services, and M&A-driven growth to expand AMPAM's footprint and capabilities.

Legence, a Blackstone portfolio company and energy transition platform, has acquired San Diego-based mechanical contractor A.O. Reed & Co. The acquisition expands Legence's HVAC and mechanical contracting capabilities across California to support decarbonization, energy efficiency, and mission-critical building solutions.

Marathon HVAC Services, a portfolio company of Sound Partners, has acquired Kappl Heating & Air Conditioning, a family-owned residential HVAC business serving the San Fernando Valley since 1987. The add-on expands Marathon’s footprint in the Los Angeles residential HVAC market and continues Sound Partners’ strategy of scaling Marathon through platform roll-ups and operational support.

American Residential Services (ARS/Rescue Rooter) has acquired Tarpy Plumbing, Heating & Air, expanding ARS's footprint in Southern California. Tarpy, based in San Diego and founded in 2007, employs about 50 people and operates a fleet of ~40 service, installation, and sales vehicles.

Fix-It 24/7, a New Harbor Capital portfolio company, has acquired Absolute Airflow, a Southern California residential HVAC and plumbing services provider. The add-on expands Fix-It's multi-branch platform into the Southern California market while founder Victor Rancour remains involved to support growth and training.

Marathon HVAC Services, a Sound Partners-backed residential HVAC platform, has completed the acquisitions of SoCal HVAC Specialist Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. and Aloha Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration to expand its footprint in Southern California. The add-ons strengthen Marathon's service capacity and recurring maintenance contract base as part of a roll-up strategy led by Sound Partners.

Sound Partners LLC, a lower-middle market private equity fund, has acquired Marathon HVAC Service, a residential HVAC company based in Los Angeles, California. The deal launches Sound Partners' residential HVAC platform in Southern California; Marathon's founders Ray and Tatiana Martinez transition leadership to their daughter Tatiana Fitzpatrick as COO while Sound plans organic growth and add-on acquisitions to scale the business.

CMS Nextech, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired Aire Rite, a Southern California commercial HVAC and refrigeration services provider. The add-on expands CMS Nextech's footprint in Southern California and brings the combined business to over 1,100 self-performing technicians nationwide, enhancing service capacity for C-store, food service, retail and healthcare customers.

Service Logic, a nationwide commercial HVAC and energy services company, has acquired Indoor Environmental Services (IES), a Sacramento-based mechanical contractor. The transaction represents an exit for DCA Partners’ Fund III and positions IES to operate with the backing of Service Logic to expand services across Northern California.

Cardone Ventures and its 10X HVAC management platform announced a partnership to acquire Gundlach's Plumbing and Sheet Metal, a 100+-year-old HVAC and plumbing operator based in Bakersfield, California. The deal brings Gundlach's into the 10X HVAC roll-up to scale operations, expand service offerings across residential and commercial markets, and support a national growth strategy.

Integra Testing Services, a Keystone Capital portfolio company, has completed the acquisition of RSAnalysis and RSACx (collectively “RSA”), expanding Integra’s national footprint. The deal adds approximately 60 employees and five locations, bolstering Integra’s position as a leading independent HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) and building commissioning services provider.

PumpMan Holdings LLC announced the acquisition of Ransom Pump & Supply, a Ramona, California-based provider of well and pump system design, sales, service and repair. The acquisition expands PumpMan's Southern California footprint and service capabilities while Ransom will continue operating from its Ramona facility with its current staff.

Bessemer Investors LLC has made a strategic growth investment in RotoCo, LLC, the largest Roto-Rooter franchisee headquartered in North San Diego County, California. The investment will partner with RotoCo’s management team to support continued organic growth and strategic acquisitions; financial terms were not disclosed.

Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air has acquired Velavi Heating & Cooling, Inc., a Norwalk, California-based home HVAC services company, to expand its heating and cooling offerings in the greater Los Angeles area. The acquisition will allow Rooter Hero to offer HVAC services alongside its existing plumbing and drain services and retain Velavi co-founder Jose Veliz as installation manager.

Redwood Services, a Memphis-based home services investor, announced a minority growth investment in Allbritten Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Services, a long-standing residential HVAC and plumbing provider in the Fresno, California area. Allbritten's president Jerry Unruh will retain a significant minority stake and become an advisor while the company’s management will continue operating under the Allbritten name as Redwood provides capital and operational support to expand in the Fresno market and broaden Redwood's West Coast footprint.

Andersen Commercial Plumbing (ACP), a La Verne, California-based provider of turnkey plumbing and HVAC services, completed its seventh strategic add-on acquisition as part of a regional consolidation strategy across Southern California. Backed by Seaside Equity Partners, ACP has acquired multiple local plumbing and HVAC service businesses (including ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing, Canyon Air Systems, DC Drains, Kirman Plumbing, Pennine Plumbing, Power Plumbing and Superior Plumbing) to expand geographic reach and broaden service capabilities.

Smart Care Equipment Solutions has acquired Superior Service, a Anaheim-based commercial kitchen refrigeration and equipment service provider. The deal is Smart Care's fifteenth acquisition and expands its coverage across California and the western United States.

NearU Services, a founder-led home services platform based in Charlotte, North Carolina, has acquired Action Air Conditioning, Heating and Solar, a long-standing HVAC and solar services provider headquartered in San Marcos, California. The acquisition expands NearU's footprint to the West Coast while Action A/C will continue operating under its existing local brand and management team.

Service Champions Group, a PE-backed home services platform based in Brea, California, has acquired Timo's Air Conditioning & Heating, a family-owned HVAC services provider serving the Coachella Valley. The add-on expands Service Champions' Southern California footprint and brings additional local HVAC repair, replacement and maintenance capabilities to its portfolio.

Bonney Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Air (Bonney), a Rancho Cordova-based home services company, acquired Concord-based Big Air Heating & Air Conditioning to expand its service territory into Contra Costa County and the San Francisco Bay Area. Big Air will continue to operate locally under its brand while receiving operational support and capital from Bonney.

California-based Rooter Hero has acquired Allied Aire, a Milpitas, California–headquartered residential HVAC services firm founded in 1968. The deal brings Allied’s Bay Area HVAC capabilities into Rooter Hero’s expanding residential plumbing and HVAC platform, supporting the buyer’s strategy to broaden service offerings and geographic reach across California.

DCA Partners has invested in and partnered with former owner Stan Butts to re-acquire Indoor Environmental Services (IES), a Sacramento-based commercial mechanical HVAC contractor, from SiteLogIQ. IES will operate under its original name with Butts as operator and will remain the exclusive mechanical HVAC subcontractor on SiteLogIQ's MUSH energy projects in covered Northern California areas.

Dubin Clark portfolio company Affordable Water Heaters and Plumbing, Inc. (AWHAP) has acquired Temperature Control, Inc., a Woodland Hills, California-based residential HVAC installation and replacement services provider. The add-on expands AWHAP's home services capabilities into HVAC and indoor air quality for high-end Los Angeles residential customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Odyssey Investment Partners has acquired Service Champions, a leading residential HVAC and plumbing services platform based in Orange County, California, from CenterOak Partners and its Fund I. Financial terms were not disclosed; Service Champions founder and CEO Leland Smith will continue to lead the business and retain a significant ownership stake as Odyssey supports growth and operational improvements across the platform.

CenterOak Partners-backed Service Champions has acquired three Southern California home‑services businesses — Adeedo!, JW Plumbing Heating & Air and A‑Avis Home Services — expanding the platform's footprint in Los Angeles and Riverside. The transactions are add‑on acquisitions to Service Champions' platform and will be followed by investments in facilities, IT and technician training to support continued growth.

Service Champions, a CenterOak Partners-backed home services platform, has acquired ASI Hastings Inc., the largest residential HVAC and plumbing services provider in San Diego. The ASI owners Phil and Ken Justo will remain in leadership roles and become shareholders as Service Champions continues to expand its footprint across California and the Western U.S.

Wrench Group, a national home-services platform and portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, has acquired Service Champions North, a residential HVAC provider based in Pleasanton, California. The deal gives Wrench its first presence in California; Service Champions' founder Kevin Comerford and his management team will continue to lead the business.

Service Champions, a CenterOak Partners-backed home services platform, has acquired ABC Cooling Heating & Plumbing, a long-tenured residential HVAC and plumbing provider headquartered in Hayward, California. The add-on expands Service Champions’ footprint into the East Bay, adds customers and employees to the platform and helps grow its statewide base of residential service agreements.

PMC Capital Partners, through a newly formed platform Arctic Cooling Systems, acquired the Chino branch of The AMS Group (a Hill PHOENIX / Dover Food Retail business unit). The carve-out will be operated by Arctic Cooling's existing management team and PMC said it will support organic growth and pursue add-on acquisitions to expand the company's commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC services.

Service Champions, a CenterOak Partners-backed residential home services platform based in Orange County, California, has acquired Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating and Air, the largest residential HVAC and plumbing provider in the Sacramento area. The deal expands Service Champions' footprint and adds to its portfolio of residential service agreements while Bell Brothers' co-founders Kenny and Jerry Bell will remain in leadership roles and become shareholders in the combined company.

ACCO Engineered Systems has acquired Smith Electric Service (also known as Smith Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), a specialty contractor based in Santa Maria, California. Smith MEP will continue to operate as a subsidiary, expanding ACCO’s presence and service capabilities on California’s Central Coast.
