Trane Technologies has completed the acquisition of Stellar Energy Americas, a provider of turnkey and modular data center cooling solutions. The purchase strengthens Trane's data center thermal management capabilities and accelerates deployment of prefabricated, scalable cooling systems to meet growing demand in the data center market.

SPS PoolCare, the U.S. swimming-pool services platform backed by Storr Group, has acquired Marathon Pool Care, a pool maintenance and repair provider serving Lee County (Fort Myers/Cape Coral/Bonita Springs), Florida. The deal is an add-on to SPS PoolCare’s Florida expansion as the company continues to scale its Sun Belt platform.

Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, acquired Cool By Design, a residential HVAC services provider in Broward County, Florida. The add-on bolsters Seacoast’s footprint in South Florida and expands its network of plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration service businesses.

Fidelity Building Services Group has acquired St. Johns Air, a Jacksonville-based provider of HVAC and refrigeration services, expanding Fidelity’s footprint into Northeast Florida and South Georgia. The deal adds HVAC, refrigeration, preventive maintenance and retrofit capabilities to Fidelity’s national platform and strengthens service coverage for commercial and industrial customers in the region.

Seacoast Service Partners, a White Wolf Capital platform focused on plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration services, has acquired Always Air Services, a family- and veteran-owned residential and commercial HVAC provider serving Southwest Florida. The transaction is an add-on to Seacoast's platform and strengthens its presence in Port Charlotte, Charlotte County and Sarasota County, Florida.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric has acquired Jacksonville-based McGowan's Heating & Air Conditioning, expanding Del-Air's service footprint into northeast Florida. Del-Air, a PE-backed platform majority owned by Astara Capital Partners, will integrate McGowan's operations and customers while preserving warranties and adding Del-Air's broader plumbing and electrical services.

Cascade Services has acquired East Coast Mechanical (ECM) — a South Florida residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical and home warranty provider — from Air Pros Solutions, LLC. The add-on expands Cascade's Florida footprint (its 10th Florida acquisition and 13th overall) and will allow ECM to operate under its brand while leveraging Cascade's resources and platform.

Palmetto Air & Water Balance, an SRM Equity Partners portfolio company, has acquired Bay to Bay Balancing, a Tampa-based provider of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) services. The add-on expands Palmetto’s footprint into Florida (its seventh state) and was financed by Deerpath Capital; terms were not disclosed.

Shore Capital Partners has completed a growth partnership with Comfort Temp Company, a Gainesville, Florida-based mechanical and plumbing contractor. Shore will support Comfort Temp's expansion by investing in talent, systems, service offerings and pursuing add-on acquisitions across Florida and the broader Southeast.

Silver State HVAC, a platform backed by The Edgewater Funds, acquired four regional commercial HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical service providers — Westaire (Ventura, CA), Tri-Point Refrigeration (Austin, TX), The Whitman Co. (Anaheim, CA) and Atlantic Coast Restaurant & Mechanical Services (Miami, FL). The add-on deals expand Silver State’s geographic footprint across the southern United States and enhance its capabilities in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment installation and related mechanical services.

Leap Partners, a Nashville-based home services roll-up, has acquired Cool Wizard Air Conditioning, a Tampa Bay-area HVAC services company founded by Pino and Barbara Mastrota. The business will continue operating under the Cool Wizard name with the Mastrotas remaining in leadership as Leap expands its platform presence in Florida.

PremiStar (formerly Reedy Industries) has acquired Farmer & Irwin, a Riviera Beach, Florida-based mechanical contractor, as an add-on to expand PremiStar’s commercial HVAC, plumbing, and building automation footprint in Southeast Florida. The deal brings Farmer & Irwin’s ~250 employees and local capabilities into PremiStar’s national platform to enhance service capacity for customers across commercial, industrial, healthcare and education end markets.

Modigent has acquired VMG Mechanical, an Orlando-based commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor, adding the firm to Modigent's national platform. The deal gives VMG access to capital, vendor relationships, and back-office support while Modigent expands its footprint and service capabilities across Central Florida.

Founder Anthony Perera, through his private equity firm Exuma Capital Partners, has reacquired the legacy Florida operations of Air Pros USA, bringing the business back under his leadership. The purchase includes Florida-based plumbing company Drain Genie and generator/electrical contractor Personalized Power as part of a strategy to rebuild and consolidate Air Pros USA's Florida home‑services operations.

Seacoast Service Partners, a White Wolf Capital Group platform focused on plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration businesses, has acquired Miller Refrigeration, a Sarasota-based commercial refrigeration service provider. Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, has acquired Quality First Air Conditioning, the platform's tenth add-on. The acquisition expands Seacoast's residential and commercial HVAC footprint across southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties in Florida.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric (majority owned by Astara Capital Partners) has acquired Gator Air Conditioning, a residential and light-commercial HVAC provider serving Manatee and Sarasota counties. The acquisition expands Del-Air's service footprint into the Sarasota, Bradenton and Tampa markets and adds local HVAC and indoor air quality capabilities.

Garden City Equity, a people-first holding company, announced an investment in Westbrook Service Corporation, a Florida-based commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services provider founded in 1949. The investment establishes Garden City's first platform in the commercial HVAC space to support Westbrook's growth across Central Florida and the state while preserving the company’s culture and leadership team.

Pentair plc acquired Florida-based G&F Manufacturing, LLC (maker of Gulfstream pool heat pumps) for approximately $108 million in cash. The deal expands Pentair’s pool equipment offerings in Florida and the Southeast U.S., adding heat-pump capabilities that align with the company’s sustainability and regional product strategy.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric, a Florida indoor comfort provider majority owned by Astara Capital Partners, has acquired Colman Heating & Air of Titusville, Florida. The acquisition expands Del-Air's footprint into Volusia and Flagler counties (Daytona, Titusville, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa, New Smyrna, Ormond Beach and Palm Coast) and adds local HVAC, ductless, heat pump and light commercial service capabilities.

Liberty Service Partners, a national home‑services platform backed by NorthCurrent Partners, has acquired Wilson Heating & Air Conditioning, a residential HVAC provider headquartered in St. Augustine, Florida. The deal brings the local business founded by Todd and Brenda Wilson into Liberty's multi-brand platform to support the company's targeted geographic expansion in the Southeast. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Fidelity Building Services Group has acquired Tropic-Kool, a Largo, Florida-based commercial design-build and HVAC/mechanical services contractor. The acquisition strengthens Fidelity's service footprint in the Southeastern United States and adds Tropic-Kool's fabrication capabilities and local customer relationships in healthcare, education and commercial/industrial markets.

Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, has acquired Total Comfort, a residential HVAC, electrical and plumbing services provider based in Ormond Beach, Florida. The deal is SSP's seventh add-on and expands the platform's footprint in Volusia and Flagler Counties while retaining Total Comfort's leadership team under a partnership with President Dan Hucks.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric has acquired and merged ARS/Rescue Rooter Vero Beach, expanding Del-Air’s service footprint along Florida’s east coast. Del-Air is majority owned by private equity firm Astara Capital Partners; the acquisition brings plumbing, heating and air-conditioning capabilities into Del-Air’s existing home services offering.

Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, has acquired Cypress Plumbing, a locally operated plumbing company based in Fort Myers, Florida. Liberty Service Partners has acquired Luminous Electric, a family-owned residential and commercial electrical services contractor based in Bradenton, Florida. Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, acquired Advanced Cooling & Heating LLC, a residential HVAC provider serving Palm Beach and Martin counties. The deal is SSP’s fifth add-on and expands the platform’s presence into Palm Beach County, leveraging the target’s local management team led by Erik Bryson and Victor Da Silva Jr.

The Master Trades Group (MTG), a residential plumbing, HVAC and electrical services platform, has acquired Freedom Air & Plumbing, a full‑service residential HVAC and plumbing provider based in Rockledge, Florida. The acquisition expands MTG's footprint and service capabilities in the Southeast as part of its ongoing add-on growth strategy.

Southeast Mechanical (SEM), a Winston-Salem-based HVAC, plumbing and electrical platform, has acquired Clearwater, Florida-based Climate Design Home Services, marking SEM's first expansion into Florida. The acquisition is an add-on to SEM’s platform (which is partnered with Palladin Consumer Retail Partners) and expands SEM’s residential and commercial HVAC and home-services footprint across the Tampa Bay region.

Ascension Property Services has acquired Palmetto Plumbing Co. of Hialeah Inc., a South Florida plumbing contractor. The deal, closed May 28, 2024, will expand Ascension’s mechanical and plumbing capabilities and footprint in the South Florida market while providing Palmetto access to Ascension’s national resources to pursue larger and more diverse projects.

Southern Home Services has acquired David Gray Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Air, expanding Southern's presence in the Jacksonville, Florida market. David Gray will continue to operate under its current name and branding, with Southern committing to retain employees and leverage its resources to enhance service capabilities for homeowners in the region.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric (Del-Air) has acquired East Coast Air & Heat, a Titusville-based HVAC contractor that has served Florida's East Coast for more than 21 years. The acquisition expands Del-Air's service geography into Brevard and Volusia counties and allows East Coast customers access to Del-Air's broader home services and a complimentary A/C maintenance promotion.

Seacoast Service Partners, a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, has acquired GMS Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning, a Palm City–based HVAC and sheet metal services provider with about 40 employees. The deal is the platform's fourth add-on and expands Seacoast's footprint across Florida's Treasure Coast (Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Brevard counties).

Southern Home Services has acquired ACE Solves It All, a 30-year residential plumbing, HVAC and electrical services provider in the greater Orlando market. The acquisition—Southern's third in Orlando—will keep ACE's brand and employees in place while leveraging Southern Home Services' back-office support to drive growth.

Conditioned Air Company, a Naples-based residential HVAC platform backed by Gemini Investors, acquired A/C Designs of St. Augustine to expand its footprint into Northeast Florida. The transaction was supported by a debt and equity investment from Genesis Park and a lending package from Cambridge Savings Bank; West 4th Capital advised A/C Designs.

Seacoast Service Partners, a White Wolf Capital Group–backed platform for plumbing and HVAC businesses, has acquired Putnam Mechanical Services, LLC, a commercial HVAC and refrigeration services provider in Southwest Florida. The deal is the platform's second add-on acquisition and expands Seacoast's footprint in Florida and the broader Southeastern U.S.

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric (majority-owned by Astara Capital Partners) has acquired Simpson Air, a Tampa-area air conditioning and heating services provider founded in 1999. The add-on expands Del-Air’s presence across the Tampa Bay market and broadens services available to Simpson Air’s homebuilder, homeowner and light-commercial customers, including air purification, HVAC, ventilation and ductwork services.

Lunchpail Service Partners acquired Artic Air, a fourth-generation family-owned HVAC business based in Palatka, Florida; the transaction closed on November 8, 2023. Generational Equity advised Artic Air on the sale—Lunchpail will integrate Artic Air into its shared-services platform to support marketing, HR, software, finance and back-office functions while expanding its footprint in Northeast Florida.

Seacoast Service Partners (SSP), a platform formed by White Wolf Capital Group, has acquired United Plumbing of Southwest Florida, marking SSP's first add-on acquisition. United Plumbing, based in Ft. Myers, Florida, provides residential and commercial plumbing services across Southwest Florida and will operate under the SSP platform as part of White Wolf's strategy to build a regional plumbing and HVAC platform.

Southern Home Services has completed the acquisition of Pro-Tech Air Conditioning & Plumbing, a local Orlando-area provider of HVAC, indoor air quality and plumbing services. Pro-Tech will continue to operate under its existing name with all employees retained as Southern integrates the business to expand its service footprint in the greater Orlando market and broader Southeast region.

LTP Home Services Group, a residential plumbing and HVAC platform based in Columbia, Maryland, has acquired American Air & Heat, a residential HVAC services provider headquartered in Oviedo, Florida. The deal, terms undisclosed, expands LTP's platform presence in the greater Orlando market as part of its ongoing acquisition growth strategy.

Daikin Applied has acquired Carroll Air Systems, a Tampa, Florida-based HVAC sales representative and service provider that supports the Central and West Coast regions of Florida. The business will be integrated into Daikin Applied’s regional operations and will operate as Daikin Applied Central and West Coast Florida, with Phillip Carroll leading the merged service, sales and parts organization.

LTP Home Services Group has acquired Acree Plumbing, Air, and Electric, a full-service residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical provider based in Tampa, Florida. The acquisition expands LTP's footprint into the Tampa market and adds plumbing and electrical capabilities to its Mid-Atlantic and Southeast residential services platform; terms were not disclosed.

Gridiron Capital announced a growth investment in Legacy Service Partners, a platform provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services operating across 16 states and 28 local brands. The capital will position Legacy for accelerated growth and national platform expansion in the highly fragmented residential services market; financial terms were not disclosed.

LP First Capital and Trive Capital partnered with an experienced management team to form Cascade Services, a residential tri-trade platform focused on HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors. Cascade has completed four Florida acquisitions — Mid-Florida Heating and Air, Aztil Air Conditioning, Extreme Air & Electric, and Air Boca — as part of a platform-build strategy to pursue add-on opportunities across the Southern United States.

Astara Capital Partners completed an investment in Del-Air Heating and Air Conditioning, partnering with the company's employee owners (an ESOP). The investment makes Del-Air debt free, positions it for operational and strategic growth across its Florida footprint, and led to the appointment of Rick Rogers as CEO and Faizzy Saghir as COO; terms were not disclosed.

Air Pros USA acquired Universal Air and Heat, a South Florida HVAC services provider founded in 1997, integrating the company into its national HVAC platform to expand service coverage and leverage operational resources. The acquisition strengthens Air Pros USA’s presence across South Florida counties and supports expanded service areas and staffing capacity through the platform’s national footprint.
