HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Washington

Seattle-based ACI Mechanical and HVAC Sales has acquired Sno Valley Process Solutions, an Everett, Washington mechanical contractor specializing in HVACR start-up, commissioning, maintenance and warranty service. The acquisition expands ACI's service capabilities for complex commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including data centers, laboratories and manufacturing facilities.

SE Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired Cardinal Heating and Air, a Kirkland, Washington HVAC services provider founded in 1991. The deal expands SE Capital's portfolio of HVAC service providers and gives the firm a presence in the Pacific Northwest; terms were not disclosed.

CoolSys, the market-leading provider of refrigeration, HVAC and energy solutions, has acquired Universal Refrigeration, Inc., an Auburn, Washington-based HVAC service provider. The acquisition expands CoolSys's service footprint and strengthens its market presence across Western Washington and the broader Pacific Northwest as part of its ongoing add-on strategy.

Service Champions, a PE-backed national home services platform, has acquired Seatown Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air, a family-owned residential electrical, HVAC and plumbing services provider in the Greater Seattle / Puget Sound area. The deal expands Service Champions’ footprint into the Pacific Northwest and brings Seatown’s team and local capabilities into the Service Champions platform; Seatown was founded and operated by Brandon and Lorissa Phillips.

Air Pros USA has acquired CM Heating, a residential HVAC company serving Snohomish, South Skagit and North King County in Washington, to expand its local presence and add multiple service locations across the state. CM Heating will continue operating under its brand while being integrated operationally and commercially into the Air Pros USA platform; the sell-side was represented by Meridian Capital.

The Riverside Company has invested in Mainstream Electric, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing (Mainstream) as an add-on to its Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning platform. Mainstream, which serves the Greater Spokane, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho markets, provides residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical, excavation and drain services and will help Radiant expand service lines and cross-selling opportunities.

Daikin North America LLC has acquired Washington-based Thermal Supply, Inc. (a multi-location HVAC distributor) and AirReps, LLC (a long-tenured manufacturer's representative firm) to strengthen its residential and commercial presence in the Pacific Northwest. The transactions expand Daikin’s distribution footprint and manufacturer representation across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska, improving service and go-to-market coverage for both residential and commercial customers.

Climate Pros, a Saw Mill Capital portfolio company, has acquired Truetemp Northwest, a provider of commercial refrigeration and HVAC services in the Pacific Northwest. The add-on expands Climate Pros' service offering and geographic presence into Washington as the firm's eighth acquisition in partnership with Saw Mill Capital.

Montlake Capital completed a recapitalization and strategic investment in Fast Water Heater Company, a Bothell, Washington-based provider of residential and commercial water heater and plumbing services. The transaction will provide growth capital and strategic guidance to scale the business while keeping Jason Hanleybrown in his role as CEO.
