IT Services Acquisitions in Wisconsin

GenNx360 Capital Partners has closed the acquisition of Heartland Business Systems (HBS) from A&M Capital Opportunities. HBS is a Little Chute, Wisconsin–based IT services provider with 675+ employees serving 3,200+ customers across the Midwest; GenNx360 will partner with HBS management as founder Peter Helander retires and Jimmy Buddenberg becomes CEO.

Grand Rapids-based US Signal Company, a portfolio company of Igneo Infrastructure Partners, has completed the acquisition of OneNeck IT Solutions LLC and OneNeck Data Center Holdings LLC from Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. The deal expands US Signal’s data center footprint from 10 to 16 facilities, extends its geographic coverage to the U.S. West Coast, and significantly increases commercial power and capacity under management.

WIN Technology has completed the acquisition of Digicorp, Inc., expanding its IT services portfolio and geographic footprint across the Upper Midwest. The deal adds Digicorp's capabilities in video surveillance, telephony and structured cabling to WIN Technology's fiber network, data centers and managed IT offerings, enabling broader digital infrastructure solutions for customers in healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and government.

Protera Technologies, a global SAP and cloud managed services provider, has acquired Managecore, a Franklin, Wisconsin-based specialist in RISE with SAP and public-cloud-focused SAP services. The deal strengthens Protera's SAP capabilities and adds Managecore's Google Cloud Platform expertise to complement Protera's existing AWS and Azure partnerships.

Driven Tech, Inc. (Driven Technologies), a New York–based cybersecurity and cloud service provider, has acquired ieMentor, a Cisco Gold Partner known for networking, security, collaboration and data center engineering. The acquisition expands Driven Tech's Cisco capabilities and geographic reach and brings the combined headcount to approximately 85 employees worldwide.

VC3, a PE-backed managed service provider, has acquired Aberdean Consulting, a veteran-owned IT managed services firm based in Madison, Wisconsin. The add-on expands VC3's Midwest footprint and augments its managed services, cloud and cybersecurity capabilities; Aberdean supports more than 140 client organizations whose combined employees exceed 5,000.

A&M Capital Opportunities (AMCO), the lower-middle-market strategy of Alvarez & Marsal Capital, has made an investment in Heartland Business Systems, a Little Chute, Wisconsin-based provider of IT services. The capital will support Heartland’s next phase of growth — including geographic expansion, new end markets and acquisitions — as the company pursues expansion across the Midwestern United States.

Omega Laboratories, a Mogadore, Ohio-based laboratory testing provider, has acquired Acumium, a Madison, Wisconsin information technology and software development firm. The acquisition creates Omega Technology Solutions and integrates Acumium's software, cloud and data-privacy capabilities with Omega's laboratory services to improve data security, reporting and faster result delivery.

Converge Technology Solutions Corp. has acquired Paragon Development Systems, Inc. (PDS), a digital-transformation and managed-services provider previously owned by private equity firm Mason Wells. The acquisition expands Converge's managed services, digital workplace and cloud/security capabilities to better serve healthcare, public sector and corporate clients.

Marco Technologies, an integrated technology provider headquartered in St. Cloud, Minnesota, has acquired Wisconsin Imaging Solutions, a copier and printer dealer based in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The deal brings Wisconsin Imaging’s team into Marco’s Brookfield, Wisconsin operations to broaden Marco’s copier/print offerings and expand its footprint in the Wisconsin market.

Novatech, a Nashville-based managed office provider and portfolio company of Trivest Partners, has acquired Digital Office Solutions, a Xerox dealer headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The deal expands Novatech’s managed office and print services footprint in Wisconsin and integrates the Digital Office Solutions team and capabilities into Novatech’s nationwide platform.

Rural Sourcing, a Bain Capital Double Impact-backed onshore digital engineering firm, has acquired Centare, a Milwaukee- and Madison-based digital business and technology consultancy. The deal expands Rural Sourcing's software product design, development and DevOps capabilities and adds two Midwest delivery centers to its U.S. onshore network.

LLR Partners completed a growth investment in Salute Mission Critical to provide capital and strategic support for scaling the company’s mission-critical data center lifecycle services. The funding will be used to expand infrastructure and global operations, support strategic M&A, and accelerate Salute’s training and hiring of military veterans for technical roles.

IBM acquired 7Summits, a Milwaukee-based Salesforce digital solutions consultancy, from Sverica Capital Management. The acquisition adds Salesforce consulting, experience design and application development capabilities to IBM Global Business Services to support its hybrid cloud and AI strategy; financial terms were not disclosed.

Distributed Ledger, Inc. (DLI), a blockchain technology service provider based in Atlanta, acquired Crypto Mining Tools (CMT), a North American cryptocurrency mining hardware supplier and creator of online mining tools. CMT founder Scott Offord will join DLI as Director of Asset Management as DLI plans to rebrand CMT, relaunch its podcast, and scale services for CMT's customers.

Rockwell Automation has acquired Kalypso, a US-based software delivery and consulting firm specializing in digital transformation for industrial and life sciences clients. The acquisition expands Rockwell's enterprise software consulting, digital innovation and information-architecture capabilities to deliver a stronger digital thread for customers.

2W Technologies, INC (2W Tech) has acquired Computer 911, Incorporated, a Wauwatosa, Wisconsin-based IT services firm. The acquisition brings Computer 911's clients and technical staff into 2W Tech as the buyer expands its managed services, cloud and infrastructure footprint across the Midwest U.S.
