Packaging Acquisitions in Kansas

Brook + Whittle has acquired Stouse, a Kansas-based manufacturer and supplier of decals, labels and promotional printed items, and will bring Stouse into its Sprink division alongside Discount Labels. Stouse will continue to operate as an individual company while its production facility is integrated into Sprink's manufacturing network to improve speed, capacity and reliability and expand product offerings.

Shore Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has completed a partnership with Container Services, Inc. (CSI), a custom blow molder of PET and HDPE rigid plastic containers headquartered in Hillsboro, Kansas. Shore will provide capital and operational support to drive organic growth, invest in sales and operations, and pursue inorganic growth opportunities (add-on acquisitions) while Brent Driggers remains CEO.

PPC Flexible Packaging LLC, a GTCR-backed flexible packaging platform headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, has acquired Plastic Packaging Technologies, LLC (PPT), a flexible packaging manufacturer based in Kansas City, Kansas. The acquisition adds PPT’s two manufacturing and distribution facilities and ~425 employees to PPC’s network, expanding capacity, capabilities and geographic footprint across North America.

GenNx360 Capital Partners’ portfolio company, B2B Industrial Packaging, acquired Miller-Bevco, a Shawnee, Kansas-based packaging solutions provider, effective February 1, 2022. The deal is B2B’s ninth add-on since GenNx360’s October 2020 investment and is intended to expand B2B’s product, service and geographic reach for packaging customers across the U.S.

Altium Packaging has acquired the assets of SFB Plastics, Inc., a Wichita, Kansas-based HDPE blow molder and industrial container manufacturer with nearly 50 years of history. The acquisition adds blow-molding capacity and experienced employees to Altium’s North American packaging network and expands its industrial container capabilities.
