Securitas Technology has acquired Sonitrol New Orleans, adding the local Sonitrol franchise and its audio-verified intrusion capabilities to Securitas Technology’s portfolio. The acquisition expands Securitas Technology’s geographic footprint and strengthens its offering of Sonitrol solutions and monitoring services in the New Orleans market.

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Acadiana Security Plus, a Lafayette-based provider of security, access control, video verification and fire alarm systems. The acquisition expands Pye-Barker’s footprint into Louisiana (its 37th state) and adds a local team of NICET-certified technicians and roughly 85 employees serving commercial and government customers.

Alliant Insurance Services has acquired KnowledgeVine LLC, a provider of Human Performance Improvement (HPI) technology and safety training, to augment Alliant's risk reduction and loss-control offerings. KnowledgeVine and its team will join Alliant and continue to service clients from its headquarters in Zachary, Louisiana, with its REMEDY Learning System and STAR Driver programs being made available to Alliant customers in energy, utilities and construction.

Carousel Capital has invested in HUB Enterprises, a Broussard, Louisiana-based security and insurance defense investigations firm, and will combine it with its existing portfolio company, Ethos Risk Services. The deal creates a larger, technology-enabled claims and investigations platform intended to expand fraud and risk mitigation capabilities and accelerate national growth.

Propelled Brands, the multi-brand franchising platform behind FASTSIGNS and NerdsToGo, has acquired Suite Management Franchising, LLC, the parent company of MY SALON Suite and Salon Plaza. The deal brings roughly 201 salon suite locations across 34 states (and 2 countries) into Propelled Brands' portfolio to accelerate growth of the salon-suite franchising business.
