Wealthspire’s Ground Control Business Management has acquired Nashville-based Wiles + Taylor & Co., a music-focused business management and tax consulting firm. The deal expands Ground Control’s U.S. footprint beyond California, adds specialized touring and royalty administration capabilities, and brings roughly 65 employees into the platform while Wiles + Taylor continues operating in Nashville.

iQor CXBPO acquired JumpCrew, a Nashville-based Growth as a Service provider, to expand its end-to-end customer experience (CX) and B2B sales and marketing capabilities. The acquisition integrates JumpCrew's AdPost platform and dedicated sales teams with iQor's global CXBPO delivery and analytics, with Chris Crowley leading the combined organization and Robert Henderson remaining as JumpCrew's CEO reporting to Crowley.

Rob Moore, the Pet Butler franchise owner in Clarksville, Tennessee, has acquired Parapoopers Scoopers from owner Chris Fadely. The deal folds Parapoopers' local customer base and territory into the Pet Butler Clarksville franchise to expand services and geographic coverage.

THL Partners has agreed to make a majority investment in YA Group, a Nashville-based professional services firm providing forensic consulting, engineering, and risk mitigation services to insurance and public-sector clients. Current investor CIVC Partners, management and employees will retain significant ownership, and the capital will be used to accelerate organic growth, expand core capabilities and pursue strategic acquisitions.

Patriot Capital has made a growth investment in TCB Franchising, a Memphis-based franchisor and portfolio company of Eagle Merchant Partners. The capital will support expansion of TCB's brands — AmeriSpec Inspection Services, Furniture Medic and newly launched Renew Medic — across the U.S. and Canada.

Cultivate Brands has acquired Petra Coach, a leadership and executive team coaching firm founded by Andy Bailey. Petra Coach will operate as an independent subsidiary to expand Cultivate Brands' advisory, coaching, and back-office services for small and medium-sized businesses.

Curated Events, a portfolio company of MRE Capital, has acquired Please Be Seated Event Rentals. The acquisition expands Curated Events' inventory and geographic footprint in the Southeast, strengthening its position as a leading special event rental and services provider.

LaunchPad Home Group’s subsidiary Residential Inspector of America (RIA) has acquired Nashville Home Inspection (NHI), a Nashville-based residential inspection firm founded in 1999. The deal is an add-on acquisition to expand RIA/LaunchPad’s footprint in middle Tennessee; LaunchPad is backed by private equity firm RFE Investment Partners.

Certified Group, a PE-backed North American laboratory testing and regulatory consulting provider, announced an investment in the Knoxville, Tennessee hemp and CBD testing laboratory business of Kaycha Labs. The facility will operate under the Labstat name and expands Certified Group's hemp/CBD testing capabilities in the U.S., complementing its existing food, cosmetics and supplement testing services.

3STEP Sports has acquired K2 Volleyball Club, a Tennessee-based club and event operator founded by Chris and Jason Hames. The acquisition adds one of the nation’s top club volleyball organizations to 3STEP’s expanding volleyball division and expands 3STEP’s footprint in the Knoxville/Maryville, Tennessee area.

Consilio has acquired Legility from private equity firm Gridiron Capital, combining Consilio's global eDiscovery and legal consulting platform with Legility's technology-enabled legal services, managed review, and flexible legal talent capabilities. The deal expands Consilio's enterprise legal services, enhances its European footprint, and integrates Legility's talent and technology into Consilio's Complete suite of solutions.

TCDI, a Greensboro-based provider of eDiscovery, litigation management and cybersecurity services, has acquired Cicayda LLC and will integrate Cicayda's iDiscovery platform and social media collection tool Novara into its technology suite. The deal is an add-on acquisition to TCDI (which is backed by Trivest Partners) intended to broaden TCDI's eDiscovery, managed review and cybersecurity capabilities.

An affiliate of Roark Capital Management LLC has acquired ServiceMaster Brands from ServiceMaster Global Holdings for $1.553 billion. The transaction separates the franchised restoration and cleaning portfolio (ServiceMaster Brands) from the remaining business, which was renamed Terminix Global Holdings; Roark intends to leverage its franchising expertise to grow the platform, and Elane Stock will become CEO of ServiceMaster Brands.

ATWEC Technologies, Inc. (OTC: ATWT) signed a binding letter of intent to acquire Memphis-based Level Three Security for cash and restricted stock, acquiring substantially all of Level Three's assets and liabilities. Level Three will become a new security division of ATWEC, adding residential and commercial alarm and surveillance capabilities as part of ATWEC's strategy to expand beyond vehicle child-safety products and into home and business security markets.

Davies, the HGGC-backed U.K. operations management and digital solutions provider, has acquired Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a Nashville-based workers' compensation and property & casualty claims administration firm. The acquisition — Davies' 15th under HGGC ownership — expands its North American Claims Solutions capability and further strengthens its end-to-end claims processing and adjusting services.
