RFPIO (now operating as Responsive) acquired RFP360 in August 2021 to expand its response management product into a full RFP lifecycle and strategic sourcing offering. The deal broadens RFPIO's user base and capabilities in request management and was financed in part with participation from investor K1 Investment Management.

Thinktum Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based no-code insurance technology firm, has acquired Illustrate Inc., a provider of cloud-based life insurance illustration, e-application and point-of-sale software with operations in Overland Park, Kansas and Toronto, Ontario. The acquisition combines Thinktum's no-code underwriting and e-app solutions with Illustrate's OPUS platform to expand capabilities and service offerings for insurers and insuretechs; senior leadership roles were reallocated with Paul Reaburn as CEO and David Slabodkin as Chairman.

Awesome Motive has acquired Sandhills Development’s entire suite of WordPress products and services, along with the associated product teams, including AffiliateWP, Easy Digital Downloads, Sugar Calendar, WP Simple Pay, and the Payouts Service. The acquisition transfers stewardship of the products and team to Awesome Motive so Sandhills founder Pippin Williamson can step away from WordPress and focus on conservation efforts.

Insight Partners has acquired CivicPlus from BV Investment Partners in a transaction that provides significant growth capital to the govtech software provider. CivicPlus, a Manhattan, Kansas‑based provider of integrated SaaS solutions for local governments used by thousands of municipalities, will leverage Insight’s resources to accelerate product development, M&A and market expansion.

Netreo has acquired Stackify to combine Stackify's developer-focused APM and observability tools with Netreo's enterprise IT operations monitoring, creating a unified Dev + Ops observability platform. The acquisition integrates Stackify products (Retrace, Prefix) into Netreo's platform to expand capabilities for both small developer teams and large enterprise IT operations.

OEConnection (OEC) has acquired NuGenIT, Inc., a Kansas City–area software firm that provides workflow, claims processing and information-management tools for the collision repair and insurance industries. The purchase brings NuGenIT's collision-repair expertise and SaaS-based workflow solutions into OEC's suite of OEM/dealer and collision offerings to strengthen OEC's collision business.

Fusion Health has completed the acquisition of 100% of the voting and non-voting shares of Kalos, Inc., a Topeka-based provider of pharmacy management software for retail pharmacies, universities and correctional facilities. The deal will allow Fusion to expand and diversify its product offerings and market reach within corrections and other institutional healthcare settings; Kalos will continue operating under its brand as a Fusion subsidiary with staff remaining in Topeka.
