Software Acquisitions in Kentucky

Battery Ventures has made a majority growth investment in QSR Automations, a Louisville-based provider of restaurant technology solutions including its ConnectSmart platform. The investment will support product development, scale the business, and expand market reach while Battery partners join QSR Automations' board and a Battery executive will become CEO.

Black Mountain Software, a Peterson Partners–backed provider of accounting and billing software for local governments, has acquired Fiscalsoft, a Kentucky-based maker of accounting and payroll software for local government entities. The undisclosed deal expands Black Mountain's local government ERP portfolio and marks its entry into the Kentucky market.

Revelyst, a segment of Vista Outdoor Inc., has acquired PinSeeker, a Wasserman portfolio company and a leading off-course golf simulator competition app. PinSeeker will be integrated into Foresight Sports within Revelyst’s Precision Sports Technology platform and its team will relocate to San Diego to accelerate Revelyst’s software and tournament offerings for off-course golf.

Software Mind, part of the Ailleron Group, has acquired 100% of Prosoft LLC — owner of the number8 brand — for approximately $40.6 million, financed with company cash and a BNP Paribas loan. The acquisition adds ~330 IT specialists and strengthens Software Mind's presence and revenue exposure in the United States and the Americas, broadening its nearshore/onshore delivery capabilities.

Growth Acceleration Partners (GAP), an Austin-based technology services firm, has acquired Mission Data, a Louisville-headquartered digital product and custom software development firm. The acquisition expands GAP’s digital product, design and engineering capabilities and enables the combined company to deliver digital business transformation services to a broader set of enterprise and public-sector clients.

Transmission, an AI-powered content and communication software company based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, acquired visitor-management provider LobbyFox and the Industrial Communications digital-signage/HMI division of Eyeconic.TV for undisclosed amounts. The deal brings LobbyFox's visitor orientation and compliance software and Industrial Communications' digital signage, HMI application software, and proprietary hardware into Transmission's manufacturing-focused employee engagement platform.

PrestoSports, the college-athletics SaaS platform within Clubessential Holdings, has acquired SuperFan, Inc., a Louisville-based mobile fan engagement, fundraising and electronic ticketing platform. The acquisition expands PrestoSports' athletic-network suite by adding fan engagement, fundraising and ticketing capabilities for college and high-school athletic programs.

Elm Street Technology, a provider of residential real estate technology, has acquired VoicePad, a Louisville-based provider of mobile lead-generation and telecom solutions for real estate brokerages and agents. The deal expands Elm Street's Elevate platform capabilities by integrating VoicePad's lead-generation and telecom technology and supports Elm Street's ongoing acquisition-driven growth strategy backed by a strategic partnership with Aquiline Capital Partners.

Main Street, Inc., a family-owned provider of data-driven print and marketing services for community financial institutions, has acquired Onovative, an automated marketing technology software provider based in Louisville, Kentucky. The acquisition adds Onovative's marketing automation and CRM capabilities to Main Street's marketing services suite and will see Onovative continue operating under its current brand with plans to expand its development team.

Waystar acquired PARO Decision Support, a provider of predictive-analytics-powered presumptive charity scoring for hospitals, and integrated PARO's solution into its revenue-cycle technology platform. The acquisition expands Waystar's capabilities in automating charity-determination, helping hospitals identify financial assistance-eligible patients and reduce bad debt.

WellSky, a TPG-backed health and community care technology company, has acquired Consolo Services Group, a Lexington, Kentucky–based provider of cloud-based hospice and palliative care software. The deal adds Consolo’s palliative care, adult day care, and memory care capabilities to WellSky’s hospice portfolio and retains Consolo’s headquarters and management leadership in Lexington.

PennSpring Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm, acquired Professional Systems Software & Technology (PSST), a Louisville-based iPaaS provider serving K‑12 school districts, municipalities and corporate clients. The deal will fund product investment and expansion of PSST's customer footprint while preserving the company's mission and leadership team.
