Software Acquisitions in Tennessee

Italian technology group Dedagroup (via its North America business) has combined its U.S. credit-union technology businesses Share One and VisiFI into a single brand, Deda Sphere, effective October 1, 2025. The merger consolidates core processing and digital banking capabilities to accelerate product innovation and growth across the U.S. credit union market.

Nevco Sports LLC has acquired Scorebird, a sports-technology company that provides real-time scoring data and API-driven fan engagement tools. The acquisition expands Nevco's digital capabilities by integrating Scorebird's live data streaming, overlay and API functionality into Nevco's scoreboard hardware and broader technology ecosystem.

WorkStep, a San Francisco–based frontline employee engagement platform, has acquired WorkHound, a real-time employee feedback management platform focused on the supply chain. The deal strengthens WorkStep's AI-driven engagement capabilities, deepens its presence in trucking and logistics, and accelerates product innovation for frontline workforce customers.

Trabian Technology has acquired the Mesh banking integration platform from Core10 to expand its fintech capabilities, including integration, analytics, and embedded finance offerings. The acquisition brings Mesh's iPaaS capabilities and its client relationships (serving 200+ banks, credit unions, and fintechs) into Trabian to accelerate product development and customer delivery in digital banking.

PDI Technologies has acquired the Comdata Merchant Solutions business from Corpay Inc., taking ownership of the POS hardware, software and site-level systems that serve truck stops and unattended commercial fueling locations. Corpay (Comdata) will retain its fuel card and merchant acceptance network, while PDI will become an approved provider of Comdata transactions and invest in expanding the POS capabilities.

Valsoft Corporation Inc. has acquired Equinox Information Systems, a Nashville-based software provider specializing in fraud management, revenue assurance, data mediation and network monitoring for the telecommunications industry. Equinox's management will remain in place as Valsoft expands into the telecommunications vertical and looks to grow Equinox's presence in the U.S. and internationally.

N. Harris Computer Corporation, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., has acquired MEDHOST, Inc., a Franklin, Tennessee–based provider of electronic health record (EHR) and healthcare IT solutions. The deal includes MEDTEAM Solutions and will keep MEDHOST operating as a stand-alone business to strengthen Harris's healthcare software and services offerings.

Fexa, a Mullica Hill, New Jersey-based facilities management enterprise SaaS provider, has acquired Trakref, a Nashville-based refrigerant tracking and management software company. The acquisition expands Fexa's CMMS platform capabilities to address refrigerant compliance, ESG reporting and sustainability requirements for multi-site facility operators.

CliniSys Group, a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, has acquired Common Cents Systems, Inc. (dba ApolloLIMS) from Lead Capital Partners. ApolloLIMS, a Nashville-based provider of enterprise laboratory information management system (LIMS) software, will be integrated into CliniSys' LIMS business to expand its laboratory software capabilities and market reach.

Mitratech, a provider of legal and compliance software, has acquired Quovant, a spend management and legal bill review provider that offers advanced analytics and AI-driven categorization. The acquisition adds Quovant's spend visibility, expert review services and analytics capabilities to Mitratech's suite, enhancing legal spend management for large corporate and healthcare customers.

Banyan Software, a permanent-capital acquirer of niche enterprise software businesses, has acquired HWA International Inc., a Memphis-based provider of trust accounting software. The deal transfers control from HWA CEO Harry Sullivan to Banyan, preserving the business for the founder’s eventual retirement while positioning HWA for continued investment and growth.

Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division has completed a significant investment in Inhabit IQ, joining existing backers Insight Partners, Greater Sum Ventures (GSV) and PSG. The capital will support Inhabit IQ's product innovation, growth acceleration and continued acquisition strategy while the current management team led by CEO Lisa Stinnett remains in place.

VendEngine, a Nashville-based cloud FinTech provider for the corrections industry, has acquired Murfreesboro software development firm Sherrod Computers. The cash transaction expands VendEngine's software development capabilities and adds Sherrod's client book across corrections, fintech, healthcare and logistics; Sherrod's founder Chris Sherrod joins VendEngine as CIO. Terms were not disclosed.

Planview acquired LeanKit to extend its work and resource management platform with Lean and Agile (enterprise Kanban) capabilities. The acquisition integrates LeanKit's Enterprise Kanban for engineering teams into Planview's WRM portfolio to better serve software development, DevOps, IT operations and engineering organizations.
