Automotive Acquisitions in Wisconsin

Kunes Auto & RV Group has acquired Quietwoods RV and Scenic RV, adding store locations across Wisconsin including Sturgeon Bay, Fox Valley, Slinger, Wisconsin Dells and Janesville. The deal expands Kunes' RV retail, service and storage capacity in key camping communities while preserving existing staff and the acquired brands' local names.

Chad Richardson, owner of Richardson Motors in Dubuque, acquired Louisburg Garage, a long-running Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership in Cuba City, Wisconsin, from the Mike Timmerman and Mary Ann Timmerman Survivors Trust. The business will be renamed Richardson Motors Wisconsin, Inc., expanding Richardson's dealership portfolio and local market presence.

Kunes Auto & RV Group, a family-owned Midwest dealership group headquartered in Delavan, Wisconsin, has acquired Griffin Chevrolet located at 11100 W. Metro Auto Mall in Milwaukee. The purchase expands Kunes' Chevrolet footprint to 19 GM dealerships across its Midwest operations and reinforces its commitment to growing its presence in the Milwaukee market.

CollisionRight has acquired seven shops operating under Mander Collision and Glass in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, increasing CollisionRight's nationwide footprint to 115 shops. Mander will continue to operate under its brand while gaining access to CollisionRight's operational support; the deal expands CollisionRight's presence in Southeastern Wisconsin and adds the region's largest repair shop to its network.

Kunes Auto & RV has acquired Wisconsin RV World in DeForest, Wisconsin from Christine Eagan and the Eagan family. The family-owned dealership will remain at its current location and become part of Kunes' regional network as the buyer expands its RV retail footprint in Wisconsin.

Gauge Capital has made a strategic recapitalization investment in Engine & Transmission Exchange (ETE REMAN), a Milwaukee-based remanufacturer of automotive transmissions. The transaction partners Gauge with the company's founders and management (including founder Sam Loshak); Gauge partners James Jackson and Kevin Rafferty joined ETE's board to support planned investments in remanufacturing, product development, quality, and human capital.

Carousel Motor Group has acquired Hudson Ford, the number-one selling Ford dealership in Wisconsin, marking Carousel's first Ford franchise and entry into the Wisconsin market. Lippert Components, Inc., a subsidiary of LCI Industries (NYSE: LCII), has acquired CURT Group from Audax Private Equity in a strategic purchase. CURT Group, headquartered in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of towing and truck accessory products and will expand LCI's aftermarket product portfolio and market position.
