Inverness Graham, a Philadelphia-based buyout firm, has acquired Cognito Forms, a Columbia, South Carolina-headquartered SaaS provider of low-code/no-code workflow automation and form-building software. The deal (terms undisclosed) represents Inverness Graham’s first platform investment for its Investments V fund and aims to expand Cognito’s product capabilities and vertical reach into compliance-driven sectors such as healthcare, education and legal.
Cordance, a Raleigh-based acquirer and operator of vertically-focused B2B SaaS companies, has made a strategic growth investment in Solutions ITW, a Greenville-based provider of SaaS point-of-sale and donations software for Goodwill and thrift retailers. Solutions ITW will operate as an independent business unit within Cordance to accelerate product development, expand reach, and enhance operational capabilities for Goodwill retailers.
Buxton, a Fort Worth-based customer intelligence and retail analytics platform, has acquired Elevar, a conversion-tracking SaaS for fast-scaling e-commerce brands. The undisclosed deal will integrate Elevar's pixel and conversion-tracking capabilities with Buxton's omnichannel analytics to enhance AI-powered customer insights and better serve e-commerce and brick-and-mortar marketers; PSG (growth equity) is a partner backing Buxton in this phase.
Netsmart Technologies has acquired Netalytics, a Greer, South Carolina-based provider of electronic health records (EHR) and practice management software for substance use disorder (SUD) clinics, from Prairie Capital VI. The purchase extends Netsmart's CareFabric platform and expands its SUD-focused capabilities, enabling improved interoperability, e-prescribing, telehealth and analytics for opioid treatment program providers.
Inside Real Estate has acquired BoomTown, the cloud-based sales and marketing automation and CRM platform for real estate professionals. The deal combines Inside Real Estate's kvCORE and back-office portfolio with BoomTown's lead-generation, CRM and services capabilities to create an expanded residential real estate software and services provider serving brokerages, teams and agents.
JDM Technology Group has acquired Greenville, South Carolina–based AerieHub, a cloud-based facility/building information app, in a transaction that closed September 29, 2022 with approval from owner Lori Morton. AerieHub will continue to operate as a separate brand and remain based in Greenville while joining JDM's facility management software group to broaden JDM's product offering and strengthen its facility management capabilities.

On February 21, 2020 Prairie Capital VI, LP partnered with founders Mark and Karen Essex to recapitalize Netalytics, a Greer, South Carolina provider of electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management solutions serving the substance use disorder (SUD) / opioid use disorder (OUD) market. Prairie Capital said it will support growth through investments in human capital, sales and marketing, technology and infrastructure, service-line expansion and add-on acquisitions.
