Construction Acquisitions in Alabama

Guild Garage Group has completed a strategic partnership with Red Mountain Garage Doors, a family-owned residential garage door services business based in Montgomery, Alabama. The deal is an add-on to Guild's roll-up of garage-door service businesses (Guild's 24th acquisition since launching), with owner Elon Elezra remaining involved as the company scales across Alabama.

Construction Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROAD) has acquired John G. Walton Construction Company, Inc., a Mobile, Alabama–based contractor that includes a hot‑mix asphalt plant and related crews and equipment. The acquisition expands Construction Partners' hot‑mix asphalt capacity and local presence in the Mobile and southwestern Alabama market, supporting the company's continued geographic growth in Alabama.

Bertram Capital has recapitalized and partnered with Ridgeline Roofing & Restoration, a Birmingham-based residential re-roofing and restoration provider operating across the Southeastern U.S. The investment establishes Ridgeline as Bertram's first platform in its expanded lower-middle-market strategy to accelerate organic growth, pursue complementary acquisitions, and expand into new markets.

Northpoint Roofing Systems, a Halmos Capital Partners and NewSpring-backed platform, has acquired Cardinal Roofing and Restoration, a residential roof replacement and repair provider based in the Birmingham, Alabama area. The deal is an add-on acquisition that expands Northpoint’s footprint in the U.S. Southeast and is Northpoint’s third add-on this year.

United Structural Systems (a Summit Park portfolio company) completed a recapitalization of Ox Foundation Solutions, a residential foundation repair and basement waterproofing services provider headquartered in Calera, Alabama. Ox founders Kevin Weber and Dannon Appleyard partnered in the transaction and will remain in leadership roles; the deal represents USS's first add-on acquisition to expand its geographic footprint in Alabama.

Crescendo Capital Partners led an acquisition of Pools on the Gulf Holdings, the largest Blue Haven Pools franchisee based in Mobile, Alabama. Parkway Capital (the mezzanine affiliate of Calvert Street) invested subordinated debt and equity alongside BlueArc Mezzanine Partners and the company's senior management to support the deal and to fund expansion into new markets and growth of maintenance and services lines.

Acacia Partners, an Austin-based private investment firm, completed a growth equity investment in Nations Roof, a Mobile, Alabama-headquartered nationwide commercial roofing services provider. The capital will be used to accelerate organic growth, expand the Company's service and repair (RoofCare) offering, and strengthen infrastructure and geographic presence across the U.S.

Groundworks, a Virginia Beach–based national foundation services platform, acquired AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists of Huntsville, Alabama, adding seven offices, more than 300 employees and over $65 million of annual revenue. The deal is an add-on to Groundworks’ PE-backed platform (supported by Succession Capital Partners and Cortec Group) and strengthens the company’s Southeast footprint while advancing its strategy to build a national, vertically integrated foundation services brand.
