Construction Acquisitions in Kansas

TrussPoint Roofing & Exterior Renovations, a residential exteriors platform backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Eaton Roofing & Exteriors to expand its Midwest footprint and deepen operations in Kansas. Eaton — founded in the early 1990s and operating multiple locations across Kansas — provides residential roofing, siding, windows & doors, and gutter services; financial terms were not disclosed.

Vance Brothers, a division of Pavement Preservation Group (PPG) — a portfolio company of The Sterling Group — has completed the acquisition of Circle C Paving and Construction, LLC and Circle C Transport, LLC (collectively "Circle C"). Headquartered in Goddard, Kansas, Circle C is a regional provider of pavement preservation (primarily chip and scrub sealing) serving public, commercial and residential customers in Kansas and northern Oklahoma; the business will be integrated into Vance/PPG to expand the platform’s regional presence and capabilities.

Fenceworks, a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, acquired Kansas Fencing, Inc., a Topeka-based commercial fence installer and rental provider. The add-on deal (terms undisclosed) expands Fenceworks' multi-state footprint and commercial and rental fencing capabilities in northeastern Kansas.

Pave America has partnered with and added Kansas Asphalt, a Bucyrus, Kansas–headquartered asphalt and concrete paving and maintenance provider, to its platform as an add-on to expand its national footprint. The transaction brings Kansas Asphalt’s self-performing locations and subcontractor network into Pave America’s platform, which is backed by private equity sponsors including Shoreline Equity Partners (and referenced Trivest Partners in the announcement).

Tecta America, the national commercial roofing leader, has acquired Mahaney Group, a Wichita, Kansas-based commercial roofing, sheet metal and structural steel services provider. The Mahaney management team, led by Mark Bolt, will remain in place and the operation will be known as Mahaney, a Tecta America Company.
