Consulting Acquisitions in Washington

Cumming Group has merged with Seneca Group, bringing more than 70 Seneca professionals into Cumming’s platform to expand the firm’s Pacific Northwest capabilities. The combination strengthens Cumming Group’s owner-advisory, project management, and cost-consulting services for corporate, healthcare, and education clients and expands its regional and international footprint.

UPSTACK has acquired Breakwater Cloud Advisors, a Vancouver, Washington–based customer experience (CX) consulting firm, to accelerate and expand its CX + AI practice. Breakwater's founders Brendan Paulin and Andrew Millard (and Business Development Director Star Toups) will join UPSTACK to broaden the company's advisory and execution capabilities across CCaaS, conversational AI, workforce management, analytics and automation for midmarket and enterprise clients.

Southfield Capital announced a partnership investment in Business Development Resources, Inc. (BDR), a Seattle-based business coaching and training provider for field services contractors and distributors. Concurrent with Southfield's investment, BDR acquired BxB Media to create a new Marketing Services department; BDR founder Bruce Wiseman will remain involved as CEO post-close.

Point B, a Seattle-based global consulting firm, has acquired Sustainable Business Consulting (SBC), an ESG-focused sustainability consultancy founded in Seattle in 2004. The acquisition expands Point B’s ESG capabilities across climate action, supply chain risk, ESG reporting, regulatory compliance and integrated strategy, and brings SBC’s talent and client relationships into Point B’s ESG practice.

Reply S.p.A. has acquired The Spur Group, Inc., a Bellevue-based go-to-market consulting and technology firm. The acquisition expands Reply's consulting and go-to-market capabilities, strengthening its presence and service offering for technology and enterprise clients in the United States.

ELYON International, a Vancouver, Washington-based management consulting firm, has acquired Azimuth Group LLC, a Redmond, Washington-based management and IT consulting firm founded in 2016. The deal expands ELYON's management consulting capabilities and key accounts across the U.S.; Azimuth's founder Raul Ramos will assume the role of CEO of ELYON International.

Accenture has acquired SolutionsIQ, a provider of Agile transformation and coaching services, to bolster its Agile transformation capabilities and help clients accelerate digital delivery and improve customer experience. Financial terms were not disclosed; SolutionsIQ’s team of Agile coaches will join Accenture’s global technology services to expand its New IT offerings.

Grant Thornton LLP has acquired substantially all of the assets of ARRYVE LLC, a Bellevue, Washington-based business consulting firm. The deal brings approximately 60 ARRYVE professionals into Grant Thornton, bolstering its Advisory capabilities and strengthening the firm's presence in the Pacific Northwest; ARRYVE partners join Grant Thornton as Advisory principals.

West Monroe Partners has acquired Madrona Solutions Group, a Seattle-based consulting firm that delivers customer relationship management and business intelligence solutions. Madrona’s team (23 people in Seattle and six in Raleigh) will join West Monroe to expand the firm’s technology capabilities and geographic footprint on both the West and East Coasts.
