Consulting Acquisitions in 2017

Accenture has acquired IBB Consulting, a Philadelphia-based strategy consulting firm focused on broadband, mobile, media and technology clients. Approximately 160 IBB Consulting professionals joined Accenture Strategy's Communications, Media & Technology practice to expand Accenture's strategy capabilities for CMT clients; financial terms were not disclosed.

Accenture has acquired SolutionsIQ, a provider of Agile transformation and coaching services, to bolster its Agile transformation capabilities and help clients accelerate digital delivery and improve customer experience. Financial terms were not disclosed; SolutionsIQ’s team of Agile coaches will join Accenture’s global technology services to expand its New IT offerings.

Huron (NASDAQ: HURN) entered into an agreement to acquire Innosight Holdings LLC, a growth strategy firm, for $100 million plus contingent consideration, combining Huron’s execution capabilities with Innosight’s strategy expertise to offer end-to-end transformation services. The acquisition expands Huron’s strategy and innovation capabilities across industries including healthcare, financial services and manufacturing; Innosight (more than 90 employees at announcement) will be included in Huron’s Business Advisory segment.
