PURIS Acquires Creekside (Insight Pipe and IPC Services)

PURIS, a water-infrastructure platform and portfolio company of an investment affiliate of J.F. Lehman & Company, has acquired Creekside — operating through its Insight Pipe and IPC Services brands — a trenchless pipeline rehabilitation and environmental services provider based in Harmony, Pennsylvania. The deal is PURIS' first strategic acquisition since the JFLCO-led recapitalization of the business in 2024 and expands PURIS' capabilities across wastewater, stormwater and potable water pipeline rehabilitation in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.

Funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group have acquired a majority stake in Infra Pipe Solutions (IPS), a North American manufacturer of HDPE pipes and structures. Wynnchurch Capital exited the company; IPS management retained a minority stake and Fortress plans to invest to expand capacity and capture strong infrastructure demand across water, telecom and mining markets.

Centerbridge Partners, through funds it advises, agreed to acquire IPS Corporation from Cypress Performance Group; the transaction closed in October 2021. IPS, a Compton, California–based manufacturer of solvent cements, plumbing and roofing products and structural adhesives (brands include Weld‑On, Christy's, Water‑Tite and Scigrip), will continue to be led by George Moore (Executive Chairman) and Dan St. Martin (CEO), with several Cypress shareholders remaining as investors alongside Centerbridge.

Inland Pipe Rehabilitation (IPR), a portfolio company of an investment affiliate of J.F. Lehman & Company (JFLCO), has completed the acquisition of Murphy Pipeline Contractors. The deal adds Murphy's trenchless potable water rehabilitation capabilities (including its CompressionFit solution and pre-chlorinated pipe bursting) to IPR's existing wastewater and storm-water offerings as a complementary add-on to expand capabilities and national reach.
