Godspeed Capital’s intelligence platform Crimson Phoenix has acquired Cyberspace Solutions LLC (CSS), adding prime contracts and long-standing customer relationships with U.S. Special Operations Command and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The deal integrates CSS’ cleared workforce into Crimson Phoenix and names industry finance executive Scott Crane as platform CFO to support continued growth of the PE-backed intelligence solutions platform.

Criterion Systems, Inc. has acquired SAGE Black Consulting and Contracting, LLC, a small government contractor specializing in software engineering for GEOINT/SIGINT, space, and cyber with growing AI/ML capabilities. SAGE Black will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary within Criterion's Intelligence Solutions business unit to strengthen Criterion's software engineering, AI/ML, and intelligence-focused services for federal and intelligence community customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Godspeed Capital Management LP has partnered with Special Aerospace Services (SAS) to establish a new platform focused on space engineering, hypersonics, and missile defense technologies. The platform, which will operate under the SAS brand and be led by CEO Heather Bulk and CFO Warren Kohm, brings ~250 cleared engineers and a mix of prime contracts serving U.S. defense/intelligence agencies and commercial space customers.

(GSI), a provider of distribution design and vegetation management software for the power and utility industry. The add-on acquisition, which closed January 2, 2026, expands SBS’s intelligent design platform with GSI’s cloud-based Distribution Design Studio (DDS) and mobile Forester field offerings to better serve utilities and infrastructure customers across North America and Europe.
