Verint Acquires Conversocial

Verint acquired Conversocial to expand its cloud customer engagement platform with additional social and messaging channels and strengthen conversational AI capabilities. The deal was announced in August 2021; Conversocial — which has offices in New York and London and roughly 80 employees — was acquired for about $50 million in cash.

BlueVoyant Acquires Conquest Cyber

BlueVoyant has acquired Conquest Cyber and will integrate Conquest's ARMED ATK SaaS risk-management technology into BlueVoyant's internal and external cyber defense platform. The deal is supported by a Series E financing round of more than $140 million led by existing investor Liberty Strategic Capital and ISTARI to accelerate development of comprehensive managed detection, response, and cyber risk posture solutions for regulated and government customers.

Workato Acquires DeepConverse

Workato, the enterprise orchestration platform, acquired DeepConverse, a generative-AI support automation and search company, to integrate AI-powered search and support agent capabilities into its AgentX/Agentic offerings. The acquisition brings DeepConverse's conversational AI technology into Workato One, enabling AgentX Support to embed AI search and automation into customer support experiences.

HireVue Acquires AllyO

HireVue acquired AllyO to integrate AllyO’s conversational recruiting chatbot and automated workflow software into HireVue’s video interviewing and assessment platform, aiming to accelerate high-volume hiring and improve candidate engagement. The acquisition combines AllyO’s AI-driven candidate engagement with HireVue’s assessments to serve industries with high-volume hiring needs such as hospitality, retail, restaurants and manufacturing. Terms were not disclosed.

ServiceNow Acquires Passage AI

ServiceNow announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Passage AI, a Mountain View–based conversational AI platform, to accelerate native deep‑learning conversational capabilities and broaden multilingual support across the Now Platform. The deal (terms undisclosed) is expected to close by the end of Q1 2020 and will enhance ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Service Portal, Workspaces and other products.

SoundHound AI Acquires SYNQ3 Restaurant Solutions

SoundHound AI has agreed to acquire SYNQ3 Restaurant Solutions for aggregate consideration of $25 million (approx. 20% cash, 80% SoundHound Class A stock) with up to $4 million of additional consideration payable over three years subject to revenue targets. The acquisition expands SoundHound's voice and conversational AI footprint in restaurants — adding over 10,000 signed locations, deepening relationships with major chains, and accelerating deployment of generative voice AI products across the restaurant industry.
