Fresche Solutions has acquired OmniData Insights, a Microsoft Gold‑certified data and analytics consultancy, to expand Fresche's capabilities beyond IBM i and accelerate AI‑enabled data modernization. The deal, supported by Fresche's private equity partner American Pacific Group, adds OmniData's Microsoft Fabric and AI expertise and offices in Oregon, California and the Netherlands to Fresche's global footprint.

Behavox Acquires Mosaic Smart Data

Databricks Acquires MosaicML

Databricks has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire MosaicML, a generative AI platform, for approximately $1.3 billion (inclusive of retention packages). The MosaicML team and technology — known for the MPT family of LLMs and model-training optimizations — will be integrated into the Databricks Lakehouse to expand Databricks' generative AI and model-training capabilities.
