Lakeland Industries Acquires Jolly Scarpe Footwear (Italy & Romania)

Lakeland Industries acquired Italy-based Jolly Scarpe S.p.A. and Jolly Scarpe Romania S.R.L. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $9.3 million, subject to adjustments and customary holdbacks. Jolly, a designer and manufacturer of professional footwear for firefighters, military, police and rescue markets, is based in Montebelluna, Italy with manufacturing operations in Bucharest, Romania, and has about 150 employees; Lakeland said the deal expands its fire product offerings and European footprint.
