Inter Parfums Acquires Salvatore Ferragamo Fragrance Business and License

Inter Parfums, Inc. has completed its agreement with Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A. to acquire the Ferragamo fragrance business and become the exclusive worldwide licensee for Ferragamo perfumes under a 10-year license with a 5-year option. Inter Parfums will operate the fragrance business through a wholly-owned Italian company based in Florence, with production and management conducted in Italy, and many Ferragamo fragrance employees joining Inter Parfums to support growth in key markets such as China and North America.

In the same transaction The Estée Lauder Companies became the sole owner of the TOM FORD brand and associated intellectual property; Zegna will run end-to-end TOM FORD FASHION (design, production, retail and wholesale) under a 20-year licensing agreement.
