Accenture has acquired Core Compete, a cloud analytics services firm headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, to expand its Applied Intelligence capabilities in cloud, data science and AI. The Core Compete team of more than 260 professionals will join Accenture's Applied Intelligence practice to strengthen supply chain, retail and financial-services analytics offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Core Scientific Acquires Assets and Technology of Atrio Inc.

As part of the transaction, Atrio's former CEO Max Alt joins Core Scientific as Senior Vice President of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Atrio's developers and service providers have agreed to work with Core Scientific.
