Titan Cloud Software Acquires Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS)

Titan Cloud Software, a Nashville-area cloud software provider backed by M33 Growth, has acquired Australian wetstock management and forecourt automation specialist Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS). EMS will retain its brand and leadership (Russell Dupuy remains Managing Director and becomes SVP of Global Wetstock at Titan Cloud) as the deal expands Titan Cloud's wetstock management product portfolio and accelerates the company's geographic growth in Asia Pacific and Europe; financial terms were not disclosed.

AEM (IGP Portfolio Company) Acquires Renaissance Electronics & Communications

AEM, a San Diego–based designer and manufacturer of mission-critical electronic circuit protection components and a portfolio company of Industrial Growth Partners (IGP), acquired Renaissance Electronics & Communications (and its subsidiary HXI) on February 3, 2022. The deal expands AEM’s high-reliability component offering to include RF and millimeter-wave products, strengthening its position with space and defense customers and enabling cross-selling and geographic expansion.

AMETEK Acquires Alphasense

AMETEK, Inc. acquired Alphasense, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of gas and particulate sensors for environmental, health & safety, and air quality applications. Alphasense, headquartered in Great Notley, Essex, reported approximately £25 million in annual sales and will join AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group to expand its presence in the environmental health and safety market.

UEI will join AMETEK's Electronic Instruments Group to expand the company's capabilities in data acquisition and testing across aerospace, defense, energy and semiconductor end markets.

Holley Acquires AEM Performance Electronics

Holley has acquired substantially all of the assets of Advanced Engine Management, Inc. (dba AEM Performance Electronics) for $52 million. The deal expands Holley's electronic control and monitoring product offerings for performance and EV-conversion enthusiasts; Holley expects AEM to contribute pro forma 2021 sales of $26 million.

Alliance Technical Group, a portfolio company of Align Capital Partners, acquired Emission Monitoring Service, Inc. (EMSI) in a transaction that closed April 1, 2021. EMSI, headquartered in Baytown, Texas, provides emissions leak detection, repair and regulatory compliance services and employs more than 300 technicians; the deal provided liquidity to an absentee majority owner and expands Alliance's environmental services footprint and capabilities.
