Best Trash, a Richmond, Texas-based municipal solid waste provider, has acquired Blackjack Disposal, a Dallas–Fort Worth area residential and commercial hauling services company. The deal expands Best Trash's presence into North Texas and adds roll-off, construction and household hazardous waste capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

H.I.G. Infrastructure (H.I.G. Capital) Acquires Best Trash from Amberjack Capital Partners

H.I.G. Infrastructure, an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, has completed the acquisition of Best Trash, LLC, a Richmond, Texas–based municipal solid waste and residential recycling platform. The transaction represents an exit for Amberjack Capital Partners, and H.I.G. said it will support Best Trash's next phase of growth; financial terms were not disclosed.

Meridian Waste Acquires Total Garbage LLC

Meridian Waste acquired Knoxville-based Total Garbage LLC effective Aug. 1, purchasing roll-off trucks, containers and related commercial permanent and temporary contracts. The deal densifies Meridian Waste’s Knoxville-area collection routes and increases construction & demolition (C&D) debris volumes for its Poplar View and Riverside landfills as a tuck-in add-on to its Tennessee operations.

LRS Acquires Lee's Trash Service

Waste Pro Acquires 24 Regional Waste and Recycling Businesses Across the Southeast

Waste Pro USA, Inc. completed 24 strategic acquisitions across its 12-state southeastern footprint, investing approximately $170 million to add roughly $91 million in annual revenue. The transactions expand Waste Pro's residential, commercial and industrial hauling, landfill operations, portable toilets, and recycling processing capabilities across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.
