Scaleworks, a B2B SaaS-focused venture equity firm, has acquired Import.io, a web data extraction and enterprise web-data platform. Paul Lynch was named CEO; the company is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and will join Scaleworks' portfolio. Terms were not disclosed.

Edinburgh-based Metanomic has acquired Intoolab A.I, a developer of a Dynamic Bayesian Network AI framework, to embed advanced AI-driven player insight and analytics into Metanomic’s game-economy platform. The Intoolab solution (rebranded Thunderstruck) will extend Metanomic’s real-time economy engine for video games and Web3; Intoolab founder Nikos Tzagkarakis joins Metanomic as Chief AI Officer and the company will maintain a development hub in Greece.

Pegasystems Acquires Qurious.io for AI-Powered Speech Analytics

The acquisition will integrate Qurious.io's speech-to-text, NLP and emotion-detection SaaS capabilities into Pega Customer Service to provide real-time agent insights and coaching; terms were not disclosed.

DataRobot has acquired Agnostiq, the developer of the open-source distributed computing platform Covalent, to accelerate development and deployment of agentic AI applications through advanced compute orchestration and optimization. The acquisition brings Covalent's multi-cloud, multi-infrastructure orchestration capabilities and open-source community into DataRobot to reduce AI infrastructure complexity and costs and enable scalable agentic AI across heterogeneous compute environments.

Apica Acquires LOGIQ.AI

Apica has acquired observability data fabric startup LOGIQ.AI and will integrate its capabilities into the Apica Ascent platform. Apica also raised $10M from existing investors Industrifonden, SEB Foundation, and Oxx to support product development and expand observability and data management capabilities for enterprise customers.
