Bansk Group Acquires Woodstream from Vestar Capital Partners

Bansk Group has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Woodstream, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer and marketer of pest and animal control and lawn & garden products, from Vestar Capital Partners. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2020, with Woodstream’s CEO Miguel Nistal and the management team remaining post-close; terms were not disclosed and Ares Management provided committed financing to Bansk.

PSP Capital Acquires StormTrap

Chicago-based private investment firm PSP Capital has acquired StormTrap, a Romeoville, Illinois-based provider of underground stormwater management systems, from Warren Equity Partners. The transaction was completed in partnership with StormTrap's management team and founding family; PSP said it will leverage its building products and infrastructure focus to support StormTrap's growth across North America and international markets.

Plantation Products, a Norton, Massachusetts-based supplier of branded gardening products, completed two add-on acquisitions in June 2020, acquiring Sustainable Agrico (the Seeds of Change gardening seeds business from Mars, Incorporated) and Dyna-Gro. The deals expand Plantation Products' seed and organic seed offerings and add liquid plant nutrient products to its branded portfolio to broaden its product mix and strengthen retail distribution.
