ElectriCom, founded in 1960, is a utility construction contractor providing aerial, underground, wireless and right-of-way installation and maintenance services to telecommunications and utility customers across the U.S.; KLH said it will support the company's continued growth and geographic expansion.

Data Network Services (Cloud Equity Group-backed) Acquires Datacom Specialists

Data Network Services, a Virginia-based managed service provider backed by Cloud Equity Group, has acquired Datacom Specialists, an Ohio-based managed service provider serving small- and medium-sized businesses. The deal is DNS’s first add-on since CEG’s December 2020 investment and is intended to expand DNS’s service offerings and client footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

Kendall Vegetation Services & Xylem Tree Experts Acquire ElectriCom Right of Way Services Division

ElectriCom will continue to focus on its core utility construction and infrastructure businesses following the divestiture.

Capital Telecom Services (CTS), a full-service telecom infrastructure and construction company based in Ashburn, Virginia, has acquired ElectraComm Services, Inc., an electrical services firm headquartered in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. ElectraComm will be rebranded as the Power Systems Division of CTS, expanding CTS's capabilities into EV station solutions, smart power technologies, solar and other alternative energy services.
