dbt Labs Acquires Transform to Accelerate dbt Semantic Layer

dbt Labs has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Transform, the creators of the MetricFlow metric framework, to accelerate development of the dbt Semantic Layer. Transform's founding team will join dbt Labs and MetricFlow's capabilities will be merged into dbt's Semantic Layer to provide centralized, consistent metric definitions across analytics tools.
