Aspen Medical Products, the Irvine-based spinal orthopedics manufacturer, has acquired Advanced Orthopaedics, a manufacturer and supplier of bracing solutions and orthopedic soft goods. The acquisition expands Aspen’s product portfolio into the bracing and supports market and is intended to strengthen service to distributors, hospitals, DME suppliers and retail partners while enhancing Aspen’s global reach.

Platinum Equity Acquires ASP Global

Far UV Technologies, a Kansas City–based provider of far-UVC whole-room disinfection solutions, has acquired AeroMed Technologies, LLC of Utica, New York, a long-standing maker of upper-room germicidal UV fixtures and HEPA filtration healthcare solutions. The deal combines Far UV's far-UVC innovations and IP with AeroMed's commissioning, HEPA products and customer footprint to expand product capabilities and market reach in healthcare, government and commercial end markets.

Applied UV Acquires PURO Lighting and LED Supply Co.

(NASDAQ:AUVI) entered into definitive agreements to acquire PURO Lighting, LLC and LED Supply Co. in a combined transaction valued at approximately $20 million (cash and restricted shares). The deals would roughly double Applied UV's size—adding an estimated $18 million of revenue—and expand its distribution, sales capabilities and access to PURO's strategic relationships (including Acuity Brands) for FDA‑cleared disinfection products.
