Momentive Technologies has completed the acquisition of Sibelco’s spherical alumina and spherical silica businesses in South Korea. The deal expands Momentive’s ceramic powder portfolio and strengthens its thermal filler capabilities for thermal interface materials used across electric vehicles, AI, renewable energy, consumer electronics and telecommunications markets.

COMTEC Mfg. (Continuim) Acquires Innovative Sintered Metals (ISM)

Sibelco Acquires Strategic Materials, Inc.

Sibelco, the Belgium-headquartered materials group, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Strategic Materials, Inc. (SMI), a leading North American glass recycler with 42 plants across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The deal expands Sibelco’s circular business into North America and strengthens its footprint beyond high‑purity quartz, adding significant glass‑recycling processing capacity and product lines.

Fralock Holdings Acquires Ceramic Tech, Inc. (including Stratamet Advanced Materials)

Fralock Holdings, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Ceramic Tech, Inc. (CTI), an end-to-end technical ceramics manufacturer based in Fremont, California; the deal also included Stratamet Advanced Materials (SAM), a high-purity semiconductor-grade ceramic materials maker. The acquisition expands Fralock's capabilities across ceramic formulation, sintering and precision machining, strengthening its position in semiconductor, medical, aerospace and defense end markets.

SinterMet (V&A Capital portfolio) Acquires Leadar Rolls, Inc.

V&A Capital Acquires SinterMet LLC

V&A Capital has partnered with SinterMet LLC's management team to acquire SinterMet, a Kittanning, Pennsylvania–based manufacturer of tungsten carbide and powder metallurgy tool steel rolls for steel rod and bar mills. V&A said it will support growth by expanding product offerings, entering new end-markets and pursuing complementary add-on acquisitions, with financing provided by S&T Bank.
