Mistral AI Acquires Emmi AI to Build Industrial Engineering AI Stack

Mistral AI announced it is acquiring Emmi AI in a strategic deal to strengthen Europe’s industrial AI capabilities and build an “industrial engineering AI stack.” Emmi AI’s physics AI models for accelerating industrial simulation and engineering workflows are expected to be combined with Mistral’s AI platform, with Emmi AI’s co-founders and more than 30 researchers and engineers joining Mistral’s teams in May 2026.
