Amazon Acquires Wearable AI Startup Bee

Amazon has acquired Bee, a San Francisco–based startup that builds an always-listening AI wristband that transcribes conversations and creates summaries. All Bee employees were offered roles at Amazon; terms were undisclosed, and Amazon intends to leverage Bee's technology to enhance Alexa and other AI capabilities while emphasizing user privacy.
