An affiliate of Veritas Capital has completed the all-cash acquisition of Perspecta Inc. for $7.1 billion, with Perspecta stockholders receiving $29.35 per share. Perspecta will be combined with Peraton (a Veritas portfolio company) to create a leading government technology and mission-capability integrator serving defense, intelligence, civilian and health markets.

Tyto Athene (Arlington) Acquires AT&T Government Solutions (GSI)

Tyto Athene, a PE-backed federal systems integrator sponsored by Arlington Capital Partners, has completed its acquisition of AT&T Government Solutions (GSI), AT&T’s Department of Defense-focused IT professional services business. The deal combines GSI's cleared workforce and DoD contract positions with Tyto’s capabilities and contract vehicles to create a larger pure-play provider of IT professional services to U.S. government customers; terms were not disclosed.

Veritas Capital Acquires CAES Space Systems

Vertex Aerospace Acquires Raytheon Technologies' Defense Training and Mission Critical Solutions Business Lines

Vertex Aerospace, owned by private equity firm American Industrial Partners, agreed to acquire Raytheon Technologies' Defense Training and Mission Critical Solutions business lines, a group of businesses that generated approximately $1.0 billion in sales in 2020. The transaction (a divestiture by Raytheon Technologies) adds roughly 2,000 employees to Vertex, expands its training, mission-critical support and modernization capabilities, and broadens its government and commercial aerospace contract portfolio.
