Auveco Acquires ClipLizard Systems

Auveco, a leading provider of automotive fasteners and body hardware, has acquired ClipLizard Systems, a Spencer, Indiana–based supplier of specialty clips, fasteners and a licensed inventory management software for PBE distributors. The acquisition, completed November 1, 2023, expands Auveco’s presence in the Collision and Paint, Body, and Equipment (PBE) markets and adds new product and technology capabilities for its distribution partners.

Alliance Consumer Group Acquires HALO Operating Unit from ZAGG Inc.

Alliance Consumer Group has acquired substantially all assets of the HALO operating unit from ZAGG Inc., adding HALO's portable power stations, accessories and IP portfolio to ACG's product lineup. ACG will relocate HALO corporate operations from Salt Lake City, Utah to its Fort Worth, Texas headquarters while retaining HALO regional operations in Hartford, Connecticut; the deal expands ACG's consumer portable power capability and complements its existing outdoor and lifestyle brands.

A consortium led by consumer-focused private equity firm L Catterton — including a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Mubadala Investment Company and StepStone Group — has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in Truck Hero, Inc. CCMP Capital and Truck Hero founder/CEO Bill Reminder will remain meaningful investors. Truck Hero, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, is a leading manufacturer and marketer of branded aftermarket truck and Jeep accessories and operates the direct-to-consumer site RealTruck.com; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2021.

Truck Hero Acquires Lund International

Truck Hero, Inc. announced on May 10, 2019 that it has merged with and acquired Lund International Holding Company, a portfolio company of Highlander Partners. The transaction brings Lund’s branded automotive accessories portfolio into Truck Hero as an add-on to expand product categories and distribution across light- and heavy-truck aftermarket segments; terms were not disclosed.
