Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire AEG Power Solutions in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately C$365 million. The deal will integrate AEG’s industrial UPS and power conversion expertise into HPS and AEG will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of HPS. The transaction was described as expected to close in Q2 2026, and later reports indicate it has been completed after regulatory approvals.
