OpenTeams has acquired Quansight's Consulting Division, including its core engineering team, to accelerate development and delivery of open source AI systems for enterprises and government agencies. Quansight will transition to a Public Benefit Corporation (Quansight PBC) to focus on sustaining open source communities, while key Quansight leaders (including former CTO Dharhas Pothina) move to OpenTeams to support product and technical growth.

Qualtrics Acquires Clarabridge

Qualtrics agreed to acquire Clarabridge in a stock transaction valued at $1.125 billion, bringing Clarabridge's omnichannel conversational analytics and AI capabilities into the Qualtrics Experience Management (XM) platform. The acquisition expands Qualtrics' analytics capabilities for unstructured customer feedback (social, calls, chat, reviews) and is intended to accelerate growth and strengthen its position as the leading XM provider.

Sinch AB Acquires Inteliquent for U.S. Voice Leadership

Sinch AB agreed to acquire Inteliquent, the largest independent U.S. voice communications provider, for $1.14 billion in cash to broaden its CPaaS offering and establish leadership in U.S. voice. The acquisition gives Sinch Inteliquent's carrier-grade network, extensive phone-number inventory and voice APIs; closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals including CFIUS and FCC and was expected in H2 2021.

Momentive Software Acquires Cobalt

Momentive Software, a cloud-based software provider for mission-driven organizations, has acquired Cobalt, a provider of association and certification management software built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The deal expands Momentive’s association management system (AMS) and certification capabilities to better serve nonprofits, associations and credentialing organizations; terms were not disclosed.

SmartSights Acquires Sage Clarity

SmartSights, a Capstreet-backed provider of operational intelligence software, has acquired Chicago-based Sage Clarity, a maker of manufacturing activity data and analytics applications. The add-on deal (terms not disclosed) will integrate Sage Clarity's real-time machine and operational analytics into the SmartSights platform to expand detection, issue management and root-cause analysis capabilities for manufacturers.
