Kaltura To Acquire eSelf.ai in $27 Million Deal

Kaltura has signed a definitive agreement to acquire eSelf.ai, an Israel-based startup that builds conversational, photorealistic AI avatar technology for real-time interaction, for about $27 million. The deal includes $7.5 million paid at closing plus up to $12.5 million over three years tied to performance milestones and Kaltura stock vesting for founders and key employees; the acquisition is expected to close in Q4 2025.
