Sterling Investment Partners has acquired W.A. Kendall and Company (Kendall Vegetation Services) in partnership with the company's CEO Robert Williams and other members of management. The transaction is an acquisition of a leading U.S. vegetation-management contractor — which provides utility line clearing, right-of-way maintenance, mowing and storm-response services — from previous sponsor Blue Point Capital Partners to support geographic expansion and platform growth.

Xylem Kendall Acquires Tom's Tree Service

The transaction transfers ROWS' customer base, operational leadership and field teams to Kendall and Xylem to expand their vegetation management and right-of-way service footprint for utility customers across the United States. ElectriCom will continue to focus on its core utility construction and infrastructure businesses following the divestiture.

Auxo Investment Partners Acquires Southeast Vegetation Management

Auxo Investment Partners has acquired Southeast Vegetation Management (SEVM), a Brierfield, Alabama–based provider of vegetation management services to U.S. railroads, and will add the business to its Genesis Rail Company platform. The deal expands Auxo's railroad infrastructure maintenance platform, broadens geographic reach in the Eastern U.S., and creates the largest pure-play herbicide rail vegetation management platform alongside Ferrovia.

Based in Tampa, Florida, Verdantas is an integrated environmental science, engineering, and consulting firm that has grown rapidly through 18 acquisitions since 2020 and employs over 1,450 staff nationwide.

Sterling Investment Partners Makes Majority Investment in HeartLand

The partnership with founder Edward Schatz Jr. and management will support HeartLand’s plans to scale and expand its geographic reach across the Central United States; terms were not disclosed.
