Bits In Glass (BIG), an Edmonton-based consulting firm, has acquired US-based digital solutions provider Omnico to strengthen its CRM and workflow automation capabilities. Omnico's founder Barney Holmes will join BIG as Senior Vice President of CRM as the team integrates to expand service delivery across manufacturing, healthcare and financial services clients.

Optimove Acquires Graphyte and Earlier Acquired Kumulos to Bolster Personalization and Mobile Capabilities

Optimove, a CRM marketing and CDP provider, acquired London-based Graphyte — a real-time cloud personalization platform — and earlier purchased mobile messaging provider Kumulos to expand its real-time personalization and native mobile capabilities. The deals (combined purchase price undisclosed) strengthen Optimove's multichannel CRM platform by adding on-site recommendations and enhanced mobile messaging to enable deeper 1-to-1 personalization across web, email and mobile.

CivicPlus Acquires Optimere (ArchiveSocial, Monsido, NextRequest)

CivicPlus has agreed to acquire Optimere, the combined business behind ArchiveSocial, Monsido, and NextRequest, to integrate digital compliance, accessibility, and records-management capabilities into its Civic Experience Platform. Insight Partners will support the transaction with additional equity and certain Optimere shareholders (including Level Equity) will become investors in CivicPlus; Optimere serves over 6,000 customers and had crossed roughly $30M ARR prior to the deal.

Optimove Acquires Kumulos to Add Native Mobile Messaging Capabilities

Optimove has acquired Kumulos, a Dundee, Scotland-based provider of a personalized mobile messaging platform, to add native mobile push, in-app messaging, and mobile engagement capabilities to its AI-driven CRM marketing platform. The acquisition closed in March 2022; Kumulos co-founders Bob Lawson and Mark Petrie joined Optimove's mobile leadership and engineering teams, and Optimove said it will invest in Scottish R&D locations to support development.

SugarCRM Acquires AddOptify

The acquisition integrates AddOptify's no-code playbook tools and analytics to help SugarCRM customers automate sales, service and marketing workflows and accelerate guided selling across mid-market customers.
