Monotype has acquired London-based Colophon Foundry, an award-winning type foundry known for bespoke type design and a library of 85 type families. The small Colophon team of eight will join Monotype to broaden its creative capabilities and expand Monotype's premium type offerings for global brands and design platforms.

Baker Publishing Group Acquires Lexham Press from Logos

Baker Publishing Group has acquired Lexham Press, the in-house publishing division of Logos, deepening the companies' longstanding partnership and expanding Baker's academic and Christian living catalog. Logos will retain rights to Lexham Press content within the Logos platform so it can focus on its digital Bible study business.

CJK Group Acquires Allen Press

CJK Group, Inc. has acquired the assets of Allen Press, a Lawrence, Kansas-based print and publishing services company. The acquisition adds a Sheridan-branded printing facility (renamed Sheridan Kansas) and folds Allen Press's editorial and content services into KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., expanding CJK's production footprint and content capabilities for scholarly and association publishers.

Phaidon Acquires The Monacelli Press
