Progress Acquires Chef for $220M

Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS) agreed to acquire Chef, a leader in DevOps and DevSecOps infrastructure automation, for $220 million in cash. The acquisition (expected to close Oct 2020) expands Progress' application development and compliance automation offerings by adding Chef's products, community and a reported $70M+ in annual recurring revenue.
