Surplus Solutions (NMS Capital) Acquires Certified Genetool

Surplus Solutions LLC, an NMS Capital portfolio company, has acquired Certified Genetool, a San Francisco-based provider of certified and refurbished laboratory instruments and technical services. The add-on expands Surplus Solutions' refurbishment, resale and service capabilities—particularly in flow cytometry—and broadens its reach into academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical end markets. Terms were not disclosed.
