Astorg completed a take-private of Hamilton Thorne and simultaneously acquired Cook Medical’s Reproductive Health business, combining the two to create a global leader in assisted reproductive technology (ART) consumables, instruments and equipment. The combined company will serve fertility clinics and IVF laboratories in over 115 countries, with a new executive team appointed to lead the integrated MedTech platform.

Astorg Mid‑Cap, the German arm of pan‑European private equity firm Astorg, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in hg medical from NORD Holding. The transaction — terms undisclosed — will support management succession (COO Craig Bluett to become CEO, founder Johannes Hagenmeyer to move to an advisory role) and fund organic growth, capacity expansion and external M&A to scale hg medical's orthopaedic implant contract‑manufacturing platform across extremities and spine.

FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, a subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, has acquired Shenandoah Biotechnology, a manufacturer of recombinant proteins based in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The acquisition expands FUJIFILM's life sciences portfolio by adding cGMP recombinant protein manufacturing capabilities to complement its cell culture media and bioprocessing solutions.

Astorg Acquires Majority Stake in Steliau

Astorg, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Steliau, a pan-European value-added distributor (VAD) of electronic solutions, from B&Capital. Steliau, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Montrouge, France, employs more than 200 people across eight countries and will partner with Astorg to accelerate organic growth and execute a buy-and-build strategy.

Creative Science Acquires Astaria Global

Astorg Acquires Pharmaceutical CDMO CordenPharma from ICIG

Astorg has signed a binding agreement to acquire CordenPharma, a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on APIs, excipients and drug products, from International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG). CordenPharma employs over 2,600 people across 11 manufacturing sites and an R&D laboratory in Europe and the US; the founders will reinvest alongside Astorg. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and terms were not disclosed.
