8x8, Inc. has acquired Maven Lab, a Singapore-based mobile marketing and enterprise messaging provider; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal will integrate Maven Lab's Moobidesk platform into the 8x8 Platform for CX to strengthen 8x8's APAC-native messaging, automation and customer engagement capabilities and support enterprise and public-sector communications at scale.

LiveVox Acquires Teckst

LiveVox, the San Francisco-based provider of cloud omnichannel customer engagement and contact center software, has acquired Teckst, a New York–based enterprise messaging platform. The acquisition adds real-time, two-way messaging (SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Viber) capabilities to LiveVox’s U-Series omnichannel engagement suite to expand its digital messaging and omnichannel customer engagement functionality.

Smarsh Acquires TeleMessage

Tata Communications Acquires Kaleyra

Tata Communications has completed the acquisition of Kaleyra, Inc., a global CPaaS provider, for approximately $100 million in cash plus assumption of Kaleyra's outstanding debt. Kaleyra and its subsidiaries are now wholly owned by Tata Communications, combining Tata's customer engagement solutions with Kaleyra's communications platform to expand capability in intelligent, multi-channel customer interactions.

Mavenir Acquires ip.access to Expand OpenRAN and Private Network Radio Portfolio

Mavenir has acquired ip.access Ltd, a Cambridge-based small cell solutions provider, to extend its OpenRAN radio portfolio with multi‑radio (2G/3G/4G/5G) capabilities and enterprise private network solutions (including CBRS/OnGo). ip.access will operate as a business unit within Mavenir's Emerging Business group to drive end‑to‑end propositions across CSPs, enterprise private networks and nontraditional networks (aviation, maritime, rural).

Tata Communications Acquires 51% Stake in Commotion Inc.

Tata Communications has acquired a 51% majority stake in Commotion Inc., an AI-native enterprise SaaS platform that provides omnichannel CX orchestration, voice AI and autonomous digital agents. The deal (cash-only, via a stock purchase agreement) will integrate Commotion’s orchestration engine into Tata Communications’ Kaleyra Customer Interaction Suite to accelerate AI-driven capabilities across its Digital Fabric offerings.
