The AMES Companies (Griffon) Acquires Pope from The Toro Company

Griffon Corporation’s subsidiary The AMES Companies, Inc. has acquired Pope, an Australia-based provider of residential watering products, from The Toro Company. The acquisition expands AMES’s Australian product portfolio; Pope is expected to contribute about $25 million in annualized revenue and be accretive to Griffon’s earnings in the first full year of ownership. Financial terms were not disclosed.
