Griffon Corporation Acquires Hunter Fan Company for $845M

Griffon Corporation, through its subsidiary The AMES Companies, has acquired Hunter Fan Company from MidOcean Partners for $845 million (subject to customary post-closing adjustments). Hunter will join Griffon’s Consumer and Professional Products segment, bringing a leading U.S. ceiling-fan brand with ~ $400M of revenue (first full fiscal year contribution) and expanding Griffon’s retail and e-commerce channels.

Petroleum Transport Co. Inc. Acquires Pope Transport

Petroleum Transport Co. Inc. has acquired the fuels transportation business Pope Transport from E.J. Pope & Son. Pope Transport operates a fleet of nearly 50 tractors and 90 trailers as a common carrier serving Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia; Matrix Capital Markets Group advised on the sale, which marks the Pope family’s full exit from the fuels industry.

Alamo Group Acquires Petersen Industries

Alamo Group Inc. completed its acquisition of Petersen Industries, a manufacturer of truck‑mounted grapple loader equipment, finalizing a deal first announced with a purchase agreement on December 10, 2025. Alamo said the purchase expands its material‑handling and vegetation‑management product offering and will leverage Alamo’s sales channels to broaden Petersen’s market coverage and support product development.

Pape-Dawson Engineers Acquires GradyMinor

GradyMinor, founded in 1981, has approximately 75 team members and additional offices in Fort Myers; the acquisition strengthens Pape-Dawson's municipal engineering, land development, surveying and landscape architecture capabilities.

SageWater Acquires AMA Repiping

The add-on expands SageWater’s geographic footprint into the Southwestern U.S. and will integrate AMA as SageWater’s Southwest Division, enabling broader service offerings including SageWater’s PipeTEST forensic solutions and design-build capabilities.
