VPR Brands LP acquired the assets of CARTDUB, including its trademark, patent-pending technology, and website, to incorporate CARTDUB's oil-recovery tools into VPR’s portfolio of vaping and cannabis accessories. The acquisition is intended to expand VPR Brands' product capabilities and bring CARTDUB's U.S.-made recovery tools to a wider market; CARTDUB was founded in 2021 by Cliff Thomason, who is named as the inventor and seller.

Cornerstone, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina and employing more than 20,000 people, will become a privately held company under CD&R to pursue operational improvements and accelerated growth.

The deal is the fifth add-on for DPI Off-Road since its partnership with Dubin Clark began in 2017 and expands DPI's product offering into differentials, axles and related drivetrain components.

German private equity investor Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), together with the DBAG-advised DBAG Fund VII, has agreed to acquire CPL Holdings (Cartonplast) from Stirling Square Capital Partners. Cartonplast, headquartered in Dietzenbach, Germany, operates a large pool of reusable transport packaging (RTP) and provides just-in-time logistics for beverage, food and cosmetics customers across multiple countries; the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
