Electrical Services Acquisitions in Georgia

Concentric has acquired Atlanta-based Critical Components Inc. (CCI) to expand its critical power and precision cooling capabilities and broaden its service footprint for data centers, industrial, and healthcare customers across the U.S. Financial terms were not disclosed; CCI's leadership will take a leadership role within the combined organization to help deliver integrated design, build, and ongoing service for critical power and cooling systems.

MKD Electric, a portfolio company of Hastings Equity Partners, has acquired Brittain Electric, a Georgia-based electrical contractor. The add-on expands MKD's footprint in the Southeast and strengthens its capabilities serving federal, commercial, and industrial clients.

RAF Equity has acquired a controlling interest in Automated Systems Design, Inc. (ASD), an Alpharetta, Georgia–based provider of workplace technology services including low-voltage cabling, audio-visual, access control, and wireless solutions. RAF intends to support ASD’s organic growth and pursue expansion via acquisitions while ASD remains led by CEO Kevin Kiziah.

Strada Services, a provider of residential electric, air conditioning, security and smart‑home services, has acquired L&M Electric, Inc., a residential electrical installation company founded in 2009. The deal expands Strada's footprint across the U.S. Southeast (adding Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina) and enables L&M to broaden its service offering to include A/C, security and smart‑home services; financial terms were not disclosed.

Access Control Systems (ACS), a portfolio company of Brixey & Meyer Capital (BMC), has acquired Access Security Parking Integrated Solutions (ASPIS), a Atlanta-headquartered installer of parking access and revenue control systems. The acquisition expands ACS's systems-integration capabilities and local presence in the Atlanta market as part of its strategy to be a one-stop systems integrator across the Southeast.

ATS Automation, Inc. has acquired WayPoint Systems, Inc., a Roswell, Georgia–based provider of building technology and facility engineering services. The deal expands ATS’s footprint in the Southeast, enhances its building controls and energy-management capabilities, and strengthens support for national account clients under the new name ATS Waypoint, Inc.
