Environmental Services Acquisitions in Indiana

LawnPRO Partners, a lawn-care platform majority-owned by HCI Equity Partners, has acquired Indiana-based Total Lawn Care, Inc. (TLC), a company serving the Indianapolis area for over 35 years with organic-focused lawn care and pest control services. The deal expands LawnPRO Partners' geographic footprint into Indiana and adds local operating capability and employees to the platform.

Beary Landscaping has acquired Sun Valley Landscape and Snow to strengthen its recurring commercial landscaping and snow removal presence in the Indianapolis metro. Beary will retain Sun Valley's staff and brand as it expands its Midwest footprint; Beary is a platform company backed by Silver Oak Services Partners.

LRS (Lakeshore Recycling Systems) has acquired Indianapolis-based waste hauler GHW, bringing the local business into LRS's footprint while maintaining GHW's brand and local team during transition. The deal expands LRS's Midwest geographic presence and commercial/industrial service capabilities, providing additional resources and growth opportunities for GHW's customers and employees.

Parsons Corporation acquired environmental remediation technology provider TRS Group, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $36 million. The deal strengthens Parsons' environmental remediation and PFAS-treatment capabilities, integrating TRS's thermal remediation technologies and PerfluorAd licensing into Parsons' Federal Solutions and Critical Infrastructure segments.

Solution Group, a Indianapolis-based provider of water and wastewater services and the OptiClear software, has received a strategic investment from private equity firm 424 Capital. The growth capital will be used to accelerate nationwide growth, expand service offerings (including smart water management and remote monitoring), and pursue strategic acquisitions and partnerships.

Indianapolis-based Resolution Group, Inc. has acquired Little Red River Consultants LLC, an environmental consulting firm headquartered in Seymour, Indiana. The acquisition expands RGI’s environmental capabilities and service offerings; Little Red River’s founder, Rachele Baker, will join RGI as Director of its new Environmental Services Group.

Wind Point Partners has acquired a majority interest in ExperiGreen Lawn Care from Huron Capital; Huron and ExperiGreen’s senior management will retain minority equity stakes. ExperiGreen, headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, operates a multi-branch residential lawn-care platform serving over 140,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada; Wind Point will partner with management to accelerate growth and scale.

Jones Lake Management, a Cincinnati-based provider of pond and lake management services, announced a partnership to add Aquatic Management, a pond and lake management business headquartered in Bluffton, Indiana, expanding Jones Lake's coverage in Northeast Indiana. The deal deepens regional coverage and complements Jones Lake's existing services; Fort Point Capital is referenced as the private equity partner backing Jones Lake's roll-up strategy.

Stanley Capital Partners has made a majority investment in SePRO Corporation, a Carmel, Indiana-based provider of specialty environmental products and water-quality solutions, with Goldman Sachs Alternatives joining as a minority co-investor. The transaction represents an exit for Excellere Partners and positions SePRO for technology-enabled growth, consolidation in the water management sector, and expanded product and service offerings.

Compactor Rentals of America (CRA), a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, has acquired Pak-Rite Rentals, a New Palestine, Indiana-based lessor of waste compactors and balers. The add-on transaction expands CRA's fleet and geographic footprint (creating ~11,000 compactors on rent combined), brings Pak-Rite's team into CRA, and aims to improve national service coverage and asset uptime.

Jones Lake Management, a Cincinnati-based provider of pond and lake management services, has assumed service of all customers of FishPro, LLP of Muncie, Indiana. The transaction strengthens Jones Lake Management's presence in Central and Northern Indiana and consolidates FishPro's customer base under Jones Lake's operations; Jones Lake is backed by Fort Point Capital.

Edison Partners led a $43 million growth investment in 120Water, a Zionsville, Indiana–based cloud water management and testing platform, with continued participation from Allos Ventures. The capital will be used to expand the team, accelerate technology development, and scale go-to-market efforts ahead of new federal lead and copper compliance requirements.

EQT Infrastructure VI has agreed to acquire a majority position in Heritage Environmental Services (HES) from The Heritage Group. HES, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, operates 37 regulated facilities in the U.S., employs roughly 1,600 people, and provides industrial and hazardous waste management, on‑site support, emergency response and sustainability services to more than 1,800 customers; EQT says it will support HES's growth, digitalization and operational improvements.

Greenix Pest Control, headquartered in Orem, Utah, has acquired Bamboo Pest Control of Fort Wayne, Indiana to expand its footprint in the upper Midwest. The deal increases Greenix's presence to 18 states and complements its residential and commercial pest, rodent, mosquito and related services.

Jones Lake Management, a Fort Point Capital‑backed lake management operator headquartered in Cincinnati, has acquired Ponds Rx, a Fishers, Indiana provider of pond and lake management services. The add-on expands Jones Lake Management's presence in the Indianapolis market and brings Ponds Rx's residential and commercial customers and team into the Jones platform.

Midwest Remediation (MWR) has acquired family-owned, Fort Wayne-based Water Out to expand its restoration and emergency-response footprint across Indiana. Water Out's management and name will remain in place, and the combined business will offer water damage, mold remediation, fire restoration, sewage, and air duct cleaning across a larger Indiana territory.

Thompson Street Capital Partners portfolio company PestCo Holdings acquired the assets of 5 Star Pest Solutions LLC, a commercial pest control provider based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The add-on deal — PestCo's eleventh acquisition — expands the platform's presence into the Indianapolis multi-family pest control market; terms were not disclosed.

Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital has partnered with Midwest Remediation, a restoration and remediation services provider founded in 1989, to provide financial backing and support growth. The investment positions Midwest Remediation as a platform to pursue acquisitions and expand its water, fire, mold and reconstruction services across the region while founder and CEO Dave Sweet remains involved.

Kendall Vegetation Services and Xylem Tree Experts have acquired the Right of Way Services (ROWS) division of ElectriCom. The transaction transfers ROWS' customer base, operational leadership and field teams to Kendall and Xylem to expand their vegetation management and right-of-way service footprint for utility customers across the United States. ElectriCom will continue to focus on its core utility construction and infrastructure businesses following the divestiture.

Altamont Capital Partners has made an equity investment in Nutrition 101, Inc., a Pendleton, Indiana-based provider of food-waste recycling, composting, and livestock feed manufacturing. The investment will support 101 Inc.'s growth—expanding its geographic footprint, reaching new customers, and strengthening its service capabilities; transaction financing was provided by Churchill Asset Management and Maranon Capital.

Huron Capital has invested in ExperiGreen Lawn Care to create a North American residential lawn care platform under its ExecFactor strategy. ExperiGreen’s existing management team (including President John Moehn) remains in place while Huron will support national expansion through organic growth and M&A, with Huron Operating Partner David Alexander joining the board alongside Chairman Joe Kucik.

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) acquired Indiana Property Services, LLC, a Indianapolis-based commercial sweeping services provider. The acquisition expands SCA's capabilities and market presence in the Indianapolis region as part of its ongoing roll-up strategy of regional sweeping businesses.

LRS has acquired South Bend, Indiana-based Junoll Services, a regional roll-off and transfer station operator, effective immediately; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal expands LRS' northern Indiana (Michiana) footprint and adds roll-off, MSW and C&D transfer station capabilities, with Junoll founder William Kyle remaining to lead operations.

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) has acquired Clean Sweep Lot Service and BLT Environmental Services, two Indianapolis-area sweeping companies based in Speedway, Indiana. The acquisitions expand SCA's service offerings and strengthen its presence in the greater Indianapolis market; terms were not disclosed.

QGistix, a reverse-logistics and electronics lifecycle management company based in Atlanta, acquired Green Wave Computer Recycling of Indianapolis and combined the businesses under the name Green Wave Electronics. The deal expands the combined company's e-waste recycling, data-destruction and refurbishment capabilities and extends its geographic footprint from the Midwest into the Southeast, creating a business with more than 250 employees and 300,000 square feet of facilities.

Alliance Technical Group, the environmental testing and compliance platform backed by Align Capital Partners, has acquired Air Quality Services (AQS), a 1998-founded provider of stack testing, ambient air monitoring, and CEMS services based in Evansville, Indiana. The add-on expands Alliance’s service capabilities into continuous emissions monitoring and strengthens its Midwest footprint.

HEPACO, a Gryphon Investors–backed environmental services platform based in Charlotte, acquired the Field Services Division of Summit Environmental Services (operating as Summit Field Services) from Summit Environmental Services of Evansville, Indiana. The acquisition adds emergency response, industrial services, and waste management capabilities and staff in the Mid-Central/Midwest region as part of HEPACO's continued platform growth.

NMS Capital has partnered with Safety Management Group (SMG) in a recapitalization, making a substantial capital commitment while SMG's principal shareholders and management remain significant owners. SMG, headquartered in Indianapolis, is a nationwide provider of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) services and operates a proprietary SaaS platform (VERO); the investment is intended to support platform growth and continued expansion across regulated end-markets.

Authority Brands, a PE-backed home‑services franchisor based in Columbia, Maryland, has purchased Service Team of Professionals ("STOP Restoration"), a Bloomington, Indiana‑based restoration franchisor operating in 31 U.S. territories. Terms were not disclosed; Boxwood Partners advised STOP Restoration and Apax Partners (Authority Brands' investor) commented on the strategic fit as an expansion of Authority Brands' home‑service portfolio.

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA), the largest self-performing power sweeping company in the U.S., acquired Indianapolis-based Envirosweep, LLC to expand SCA’s geographic footprint into Indiana. Envirosweep’s founder-owners Rob and Jeremy Pitman will remain with the business following the transaction, which aims to combine resources and support continued growth and service coverage.

AQUALIS, a portfolio company of DFW Capital Partners, has acquired the stormwater and lift station assets of KLEENCO USA. The add-on expands AQUALIS' geographic footprint and service capabilities by adding lift station maintenance and related stormwater services to its nationwide offering.
