HVAC & Mechanical Acquisitions in Kansas

Flow Service Partners, a PE-backed HVACR platform, has acquired Weber Refrigeration & Heating, Inc., a regional HVACR provider serving western Kansas. The add-on expands Flow's rural/regional footprint and capabilities in refrigeration, geothermal, and building automation while preserving Weber's local brand and leadership.

Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has acquired Ultra Heating & Cooling effective April 7, 2025, expanding Mission’s footprint in the Kansas City metro and bringing Ultra’s customers into Mission’s service network. The acquisition is aligned with parent company Southern Home Services’ strategy of growing its regional home-services platform to offer expanded heating, cooling, plumbing, and 24/7 support.

Investcorp acquired Best in Class Technology Services (BCTS), a Lenexa, Kansas–headquartered provider of commercial HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance and project services. Dunes Point Capital sold BCTS and will remain a meaningful shareholder alongside BCTS management as Investcorp looks to accelerate the company’s national growth and platform expansion.

Munch's Supply, the HVAC division of Marcone, has acquired Wholesale Sheet Metal (WSM) and Pile Protection Tops (PPT) to expand its sheet metal capabilities in the Kansas City market. The deal expands Munch's geographic footprint (to 71 locations serving 17 U.S. states and one Canadian province) and will support the O'Connor Company business unit; WSM/PPT owner Patrick Chilen will remain involved and Saundra and Tim Roche will continue to lead the business.

Temp-Con, a portfolio company of Caymus Equity Partners, has acquired Cobb Refrigeration LLC, a provider of commercial and laboratory refrigeration installation and maintenance based in Lenexa, Kansas. The add-on expands Temp-Con’s Midwest presence and enhances its refrigeration service capabilities.
